I purchased what I believed to be an iPhone *s - ***gb from a user on this website. Per the company policy, all shipments must have tracking numbers to ensure the product arrives. Once it arrives, you have two days to review the product and make sure it is satisfactory. If it’s not, you can submit a buyer protection claim. Well, I just received a yellow envelop today that felt totally weightless. I was confused at what I could have possibly ordered. When I opened it up, it read, “Thank you for your order Eli, your package is coming in a separate package via UPS”. This is an obvious attempt at scamming the user. The “product” will never arrive and by the time the buyer realizes that the return window will have closed. OfferUp needs to ensure that the user refunds the money.
GetHuman-eyemzo did not yet indicate what OfferUp should do to make this right.
