Since I paid twice to set up a membership I was trying to get one of the charges refunded to me, and still keep the service that I had already paid for. Customer service agreed to refund one of the charges to me, and keep my account active, but the followup email indicated that my service was being cancelled. I have been attempting to call them back without any success. Every time I attempt... ... I was charged twice for an account setup, and called their customer service for a refund of one of them. They refunded one charge and then cancelled my service. I have been calling for an hour on the number that was on the refund email from MyHeritage, and when I attempt to enter my account number the phone connection hangs up.**I want MyHeritage to reopen my account at the PremiumPlus level I purchased and paid for. I was charged $***.** on ********* without my knowledge when I set up a trial account, and then I purchased the PremiumPlus on ********* for $*** as a special deal from MyHeritage, not knowing that I had already been charged, and not being told by the sales person who called me. I have been refunded the second charge, but I have still purchased and paid for the PremiumPlus service level on my account. My account needs to be reopened without further charges to me.
I have been attempting to contact MyHeritage by phone to correct this problem without success. Their answering machine picks up my call and gives me options to enter, and then disconnects my call regardless of which option I choose. (At least ** times today)
Reopen my account without further charge at the PremiumPlus level. I have already paid for it twice, and was refunded one of those payments, but my service was shut off in the process - which was not supposed to happen..
I have made extensive use of MyHeritage to create my family tree, but now I can no longer access any of that information.
