First let me preface this by saying Motel * is the only place I stay. I am aware of the good, the bad and the ugly. This last Motel * I stayed it can not even be described. We stay at the Galveston Motel * **** Central City Blvd, Galveston, TX *****. I had * rooms for * nights. The first night there we noticed that the kids feet were really dirty and just thought well its just kids playing. Then we noticed that the adult feet were also dirty. We ended up taking Lysol wipes and going over the floor SIX times. I have pictures to show if I can figure out how to attach. Then the next day I went to main office and told them that the rooms were disgusting that they really needed a good cleaning. The owners wife had the nerve to tell me if I didn't like house the rooms were clean then I should talk to the housekeeping staff. Seriously, that is their job to do, not mine. Second day only thing that was done in the room was towels delivered and trash taken out. That evening I went and bought a Swiffer mop to clean my own floors. When I told motel owner this she said Good, you can clean floors. I have never come across management like this. I have pictures of the tub being so dirty it would have taken a knife to scrap the crud off the bottom, the door facings and wall were so dirty nasty, the wall in room *** had a * gallon bucket under the air conditioner in the room and when we told them that it was almost running over, was told to empty it myself. Yes I emptied it myself, but once again is this my job? The wall in room *** we rotting from the baseboard up. Underneath the tables in all room was pure dirty and dust balls were they had not been cleaned in who knows how long. Room *** had mold growing down the wall. The bathroom had mold growing on the walls in it. In that room there was also what I hope was red nail polish running down the bed and onto the floor. Again proving just how well the did not clean the floors. Our bed were never changed, the linens were not put were they belong, when we go clean towels we would have to ask for them, and then they would just lay them on the TV table instead of putting them up. The first night the bed in *** only had a bottom sheet, had to go to office to get blanket and cover. I have pictures of all this, if you would like to see. Oh when checking in, the rooms we had reserved which had a pull out bed would not be ready until * or * that night, and that was only if we would accept a room that the Air Conditioner wasn't working. OK, Galveston Texas in June with no air, I don't think so. We paid $***.** for these rooms. I am a Motel * loyalist, but the was beyond reason nasty filthy with Management that was rude to say the least. Oh and the swimming pool, whole different level of nasty. Hair and bugs floating in it.
GetHuman-terryjor did not yet indicate what Motel 6 should do to make this right.
