A female friend booked a room at the Eureka location for $70. Upon her departure for work, my sister visited me briefly. It seems the desk clerk noticed her entering the room. Within an hour, the desk clerk and another employee came to the door, informing me that the woman in the room did not match the ID presented during check-in. They insisted we vacate the motel or face police involvement, denying my refund. Stranded until morning, I have shared my experience widely. Recently, a suggestion to contact the corporate office for a possible refund or future complimentary stay arose. My name is Frankie Dea Goree Sr.

While my family was staying in a neighboring hotel, I visited them at the Comfort Inn with my youngest sister (17) to rest. After an issue with the room key in the morning, I was asked to come down to the front desk. Linda said I needed to leave immediately as I was no longer welcome to stay. This was upsetting as it disrupted our vacation plans, and I feel unjustly treated. I would appreciate a partial refund for the inconvenience caused or to have my name removed from any blacklist. I hope this matter can be resolved so that I can stay there again in the future without any issues.

I would like to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at the hotel. During my two-night stay, I had to switch rooms due to the poor condition of the accommodations. The rooms were dirty, and to my surprise, the pool had leftover food wrappers at the bottom while the hot tub was slimy and unusable. The manager I spoke to was rude, and the advertised complimentary coffee and breakfast were not provided as expected. Despite paying over $[redacted] and additional costs for coffee and breakfast, all I received was a $25 refund offer, which I find inadequate. I am dissatisfied with the service and the misrepresentation of Motel 6 in Apache Junction, AZ. I kindly request a refund to be deposited back to my card ending in [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I would like to report an unpleasant experience with a manager at this location. Due to various misunderstandings and issues during my recent stay, the manager, an older man, has requested that I cancel both of my reservations at the Motel6 property in Bedford, TX. I was also embarrassed in front of other guests by him recently. Today he asked me to leave the property once I arrange transportation. I survived a serious accident in [redacted] involving a large cab and trailer, making me especially sensitive to such treatment. I believe this manager lacks proper communication skills and respect. I kindly request that someone address this issue promptly. Thank you for addressing this matter with the manager and potentially assigning him elsewhere. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

I stayed at a franchise hotel, Oceanside Marina, for two nights on 6/6 and 6/7/18. Late at night, I received a visit from the night manager, Liz M, who accused me of leaking water and was aggressive and rude. The situation escalated when she threatened to call the police. This experience left me feeling attacked and frightened, as I have never had the police called on me in my 54 years of life. I will be expecting a refund for tonight's payment and doubt that the company will provide satisfactory resolution. Despite my long history of staying at Motel 6 properties due to traveling with animals, I vow to never support the brand again after this distressing encounter. I am disappointed and will share my negative experience on social media platforms. Thank you.

During my recent stay at Motel 6 near the airport and Mall of America, I encountered cleanliness issues in my room. I informed the manager about the dirty condition, which included hair on the pillow, beneath the sheets, and a filthy bathroom. Despite receiving new bedding, the next morning, I had a negative encounter with a housekeeper who was aggressive and demanded I leave immediately, claiming my room was empty. I have reached out to both the motel and booking.com for assistance, but have not received any resolution. I am seeking a full refund for my experience. My details are under the name Kathy Boyd with a booking connected to Ralph Boyd. I have photographic evidence of the cleanliness issues in the room. Thank you.

The air conditioning in our room is broken, and despite my requests, the staff at the Dickson, Tennessee Motel 6 has been unhelpful and unsympathetic towards my two autistic sons. The heat is making them very uncomfortable and unwell. I feel that for $70, it is the responsibility of Motel 6 to ensure a safe and comfortable stay. When I asked for a fan, I was told there were no available rooms to move us to, which I later found out to be untrue. This situation is unacceptable, and I will be contacting an attorney and the health department regarding this matter. - Terry N.

Hello, my name is Gabe. I visited your motel last Saturday night and unfortunately had a poor experience. The beds were uncomfortable, there was a strange smell, the elevators were out of order, and there was no food available, not even fruits. Most Motel 6 locations offer at least some food options, even if it's not a free hot breakfast. I understand that weekend prices may be higher, but for the conditions I encountered, I feel I should request a refund, although I was too tired to do so at the time. If I were managing Motel 6, I would consider offering guests with similar complaints a free night or at least a 50% discount voucher for their next stay. This gesture would likely encourage them to return. I have visited other Motel 6 locations that were clean with comfortable beds, while others needed significant improvement, including staff training. I have spoken to others who shared my experience, and they feel similarly. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Gabe.

My partner and I stayed at Motel 6 in Sedalia, Missouri, on West Broadway Blvd on June 7th. Initially appearing a little run-down, the room turned out to be quite disgusting. The strong smell of cigarette smoke, sticky walls and floor, and numerous flies were off-putting. The stained, hole-filled towels and sheets were disappointing. Despite jet lag, we stayed one night after buying sheets and pillows from Walmart, along with cleaning supplies and fly traps. Returning to find the room door slightly open raised safety concerns. After a sleepless night due to worries about safety, we left the next day only to find our belongings smelling of cigarettes. The condition of the motel is unacceptable, and urgent action must be taken. I hope this feedback prompts necessary changes to prevent others from facing similar experiences.

I experienced an unusually noisy night at Motel 6. This stay was disappointing due to disturbances. A disruptive guest was yelling after being evicted late at night, making it impossible for me to sleep. I had to leave briefly, assuming they would depart. Upon returning, early morning construction noise above my room sounded as if they were drilling right into our space. Contacting the office to request a pause was fruitless. It is frustrating to pay for a room that cannot be utilized peacefully. This is the first time I've been unable to use a room for its sole purpose of providing rest. I may consider switching to Airbnb if this issue is not resolved by Motel 6.

During my recent stay at the Motel 6 in Palm Springs, California, I encountered an issue with the room I booked. I reserved a Queen Room but was given a double bed instead. Despite bringing this to the manager's attention and even providing measurements to show it was not a queen-sized bed, I was denied a refund. The manager claimed this was the largest bed size available at the location, indicating they do not offer queen beds at all. I tried to escalate the matter by contacting the location multiple times and even reaching out to corporate, but unfortunately, I received no satisfactory resolution. The lack of customer service and the false advertising at this Motel 6 location has been incredibly disappointing. I feel it's important to bring awareness to this issue of misleading information and poor customer service.

During our two-day stay at a Motel 6 in Columbus, Mississippi, we experienced a distressing situation. After paying for an additional night and requesting fresh sheets and towels, we returned from breakfast to find all our belongings missing. Despite our complaints, we were moved to three different rooms before ultimately being asked to leave. Our primary request was for a refund, as well as compensation for our missing items amounting to $50. Numerous attempts to reach the manager have gone unanswered. The behavior of the front desk staff and other employees was unacceptable, as they mishandled our belongings, placed us in rooms with issues like cockroaches and a broken TV, and ultimately ejected us from our accommodation during our trip.

I reside in Chicago and had made a reservation for accommodations in Maryland Heights, St. Louis on June 7th for my children, who were attending a concert at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater. Upon their arrival, they encountered unsettling situations such as encountering individuals loitering outside the establishment and a discourteous front desk attendant. The room they were provided had a malfunctioning and unclean toilet. Despite the late hour, my daughter contacted me around 4 am due to disturbances caused by a homeless person in the hallway. The following morning, they were denied basic amenities like soap and shampoo by the same unhelpful staff member. Additionally, the lack of food options on-site led them to a nearby restaurant where they were followed and approached by unwelcome individuals. Subsequently, they found themselves amidst a police presence at the motel, prompting them to seek alternative accommodation at a nearby Best Western upon my insistence. The experience at Motel 6 was utterly disappointing and I am seeking a refund for the distress my children endured. Melanie Myers

I have been staying at this hotel for 41 days now, and I am having some issues with the customer service. The room service staff mistakenly placed a wrong-sized bed cover on my bed. Upon notifying the front desk, they promised to bring the correct-sized cover, but when they delivered it at 10 p.m. yesterday, it was damaged with cigar burns. I requested a replacement, but I am still waiting for a suitable cover. Without a cover, I had to turn the AC on, and now I am feeling cold. It has been over 24 hours since I had a proper cover on my bed. Your assistance in resolving this matter and compensating me for the inconvenience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. - Keith N. at the hotel on Tara Boulevard, Georgia.

I have been a repeat guest at Motel 6 Lewisville in the past, but my recent visit was disappointing. I will not return to this location. One issue was the reservation; despite my request for a mini fridge and microwave for a 4-day stay, they were not included, and the front desk staff member was rude about correcting this error, insisting on an extra charge. The room was dirty with hair in the shower and unclean appliances. When I asked for them to be cleaned, I was told the room had already been cleaned. The key cards were problematic, requiring multiple trips to the front desk for reprogramming. Additionally, the exterior door keypads were deactivated, inconveniencing my access to the car. Despite asking for a do not disturb sign, I was told they don't offer them, and housekeeping must service the room daily. Frustrated, I decided to leave early. I request a refund for the unused night and believe this property warrants a thorough investigation by the corporate team.

I had a terrible experience at this motel. I accidentally left behind a binder containing important documents, money, and checkbooks. Despite contacting the motel, they claimed they did not find it. The binder had vital items such as birth certificates, homework, and more. I stayed in room [redacted] from Saturday, June 9th, to Sunday, June 10th. Sadly, the managers were unhelpful, rude, and wasted our time. We suspect the housekeeper from Sunday may have our belongings. The inconsistency in their treatment - rude to us but friendly to a young guest - was disappointing. I am highly dissatisfied with Motel 6 on Victory Dr, Columbus, GA.

I would like to address an issue that has occurred at Motel 6 in San Antonio, Texas, particularly during the Fiesta in April. Over the last two years, there have been concerns with the strict security protocol, where guests are required to be inside their rooms by 10 PM. This has caused inconvenience for guests who come to enjoy the event and have paid a significant fee to stay. Despite paying around $[redacted].00 for a 3-night stay, guests have faced difficulties due to security enforcement by the front office staff. The strict enforcement has led to complaints and even threats of not returning. I believe that the hotel risks losing valued customers if this matter is not addressed promptly. It is imperative that the management reconsiders their security policies to ensure guests can enjoy their stay without unnecessary disruptions. I genuinely hope that these issues can be resolved to enhance the overall experience for guests like me. Thank you.

I am currently staying at Motel 6, a place I frequently visit. Upon check-in on Monday the 11th, I paid $[redacted].03 for a stay until the 13th. I didn't receive a receipt, only a windshield sticker and a key. The next day, on the 12th, I went to extend my stay until the 14th, paying $85. However, once it was the 13th, I was rudely told to leave my room for overstaying by the management. Despite my attempts to explain and contact corporate, the issue was not resolved. I've been bothered multiple times by housekeeping and encountered unprofessional behavior from the staff, who seem more interested in smoking outside than assisting guests. This experience has been disappointing, and I feel mistreated. I have decided not to stay here again and will advise others not to as well. Thank you, Karen Mary Jorgensen.

I recently stayed at a Motel 6 in Englewood, Florida and faced several issues with my room. Despite requesting a different room due to toilet and air conditioning problems, I was not accommodated promptly. The staff offered another room, but it was not ready, so I reluctantly accepted a one-bed room for the night. When inquiring about pricing for a two-bed room for the week, I received no clear answer and had to pay separately for the night and potential week stay. When I expressed dissatisfaction, the manager, Rick, became confrontational and unhelpful. After a series of disagreements, I decided to seek a refund for the remaining week's payment. However, I have yet to receive it, even after moving to a different hotel. I hope to resolve this matter with the assistance of the corporate office.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am currently staying at Motel 6 in Sedalia, MO with my fiance since March [redacted]. For the past 3 months, we have experienced flooding from the bathroom above ours, leading to mold growth on our ceiling. Despite reporting this to the staff multiple times, no action has been taken. Consequently, we are now both ill due to the mold exposure. We have requested a room change, but have been informed that it is not possible. I am dedicated to my job, but if I miss work due to illness, it affects my ability to pay for our accommodation. Urgent attention is needed to resolve this issue. I have photographs of the bathroom ceiling for reference.
Thank you,
L.D.
