May I just start off by saying that the customer service over the phone on the toll free number was amazing. *When we arrived at the Schiller Park location in Illinois, that’s when things went AWFUL. To start off, they asked to see everyone’s credit cards when we specially told Melissa, the receptionist that she she would be charging all the rooms on * card. After spending over ** minutes looking at everyone’s ID’s and checking everyone’s credit cards, she of course only charged * rooms on the card and * in cash. The * rooms were immediately charged, and we received and emailed receipt. When the last room was being paid in cash, we never received a printed reciept because “the printer was down”. We asked for a quick handwritten reciept and Melissa replied saying “no that’s too much work, come back early for your reciept”. To add to that, she gave us a room that was already in use and we had to go back down and let her know, which she gave us attitude and smacked a different room key on the desk. We were in a rush that next day as it was my grandsons *st birthday party and we were busy running errands. Later in the day, during my grandsons party, I received a call from Motel *’s manager saying we only paid for * rooms. She was being very rude over the phone but then finally said come see us at the front desk when you’re not busy. Later that night, she kept accusing us of only paying for * rooms until we told her to check the cameras. Which then she did so, and saw that we paid for * rooms, and that the employee by the name of Melissa, kept almost $*** to herself and made it seem as we didn’t pay. After the manager had already taken the matter into her own hands, I received a call from this Melissa worker asking for the numbers of our cards!! Which we just ignored her and hung up. You guys should be more aware over your employees instead of just verbally attacking a customer and accusing them for “not paying”. *We will NOT be using Motel * ever again due to our inconvenience.
