I can open Outlook and read any files that have been received. I cannot receive any new emails. on the "send*receive" icon at bottom the screen, I receive a message wanting my user name and password. When that information is entered, I receive a message "Send*Receive error" and that is a far as I can get. Restarting Outlook has no effect nor does rebooting the PC. This is a home PC and I have used Outlook for many years with no problems. My cell phone number is ***-***-**** and my landline phone is ***-***-****.
