Help with my Microsoft - Tech Support issue
The issue in GetHuman-sisu's own words
I may have been scammed and*or hacked. A pop up warned me I might have been hacked and gave me the phone number *********** to call. This company name is "IT Services" and the rep said they are licensed to help with Microsoft problems. I spoke with a "Mike Ross." He "took over" my computer screen and showed me what he was doing to make sure I had not been hacked. I was very suspicious...at the end he said I could have future protection by purchasing software protection...gave me prices...I have a fully running protection program that is up to date...I believe this was a scam if not a hack. I reset my computer to several hours earlier. I also contacted two financial institutions I do business sometimes online. Wonder if I was hacked or scammed? Thanks
