Help with my Metro PCS issue

I was trying to get my speaker to work so I could hear my phone ring or if it cannot be repaired I would like another phone of the same or one that has the same features as mine. I would just like to have a phone that works ... My phone is the ZTE Blade model number z*** I was having trouble with my speaker with my playback when I would record music and play it back it would be very distorted in my speaker when at my store the representative told me she could get me a new phone for only $** which I took her up on so I received my new phone July *th and now the new phone I have the speaker is not working at all so I cannot hear my phone ring or my music play or any notifications or anything like that any outside sound I am not getting. I talked to ZTE in return they told me I needed to talk to Metro PCS at the store they told me that they had discontinued this model because of problems which I thought would give me more reason for having my phone replaced but at the store they told me they could not help me so I called ZTE back and they have told me that they have not discontinue this phone I guess it was just that Metro PCS store but they have been trying to help me in return I've had my phone this whole month with no service pretty much because I can't hear my phone ring so it's kind of like I don't even have a phone. I'm very upset with Metro PCS and ZTE at this time I do like MetroPCS but I feel that this problem could be resolved very easily I'm not looking for any free upgrades and don't have the money to upgrade this phone is brand new I would just like the phone replaced or a phone that has the same features once again I'm not looking for anything free just what I am entitled to and what I have paid for. So to resolve this issue like I said I would just like my phone to be replaced with the same model one that works or another phone that has the same features and I also feel like I am entitled to another month of service being that I have gone this whole month with no phone that works your help is greatly appreciated. I have best phone for * months and out of the last month I have not been able to use it because the speaker does not work which makes it where I cannot hear my phone ring or any other sound that comes out of the speaker. And I am really frustrated that I have paid for this month service and have not been able to use it like I should have
The way I would like it resolved is to have the speaker working or at least have a new phone or a different phone that has the same features as mine. The phone I have is a very nice phone and I really like it when it is working anyway I am not looking for any free upgrade and I cannot afford an upgrade at this time I just feel like I should get what I paid for it they can't give me the same phone I would at least want one that has the same features as mine
I'm a good customer because I pay my bill every month and I do enjoy being with Metro PCS or I have at least I'm starting to think about maybe switching companies
The only thing left for me to try is to factory reset it and take the chance of losing some of my stuff on my phone. Which when I got this new phone I'm not real smart about backing my stuff up and the representative at the store did not backup my stuff for me so in return when she took my phone I lost a lot of things on my phone that I didn't know I was going to lose but once again the only thing left is factory reset and I have to try to make sure I have everything backed up first and then I'm going to call them and they are going to help me through it
