You cancel at anytime by just calling in. You will need to call in immediately or may need to wait for the item to be delivered to return it.
The issue in GetHuman-zbeasley's own words
I placed an order for * pullip dolls on mercari. I then realized that the dolls do not come with stands, so i asked the seller if they came with the purchase and she said no. she told me that she was going to ship them out tomorrow. I then requested a cancellation for the item. it told me it notified them, and that they would cancel the item for me if she didn’t respond by novemeber **th. I explained to the seller why i wanted to cancel the item, and she told me it was against the policy to cancel. which was incorrect, because i had already clicked to cancel it and it told me the app notified the seller. She told me that she was absolutely not contacted by mercari. She continuously just told me that it was not able to happen and that they would be shipped tomorrow. I believe she must have ignored my cancellation request, and then she falsely marked that the dolls were already shipped so that the possibility to cancel then was no longer available. I believe the seller lied to me and manipulated my ability to cancel the order by marking the items shipped sooner than they actually did, because earlier she sent multiple messages saying they’d be shipped tomorrow. I would like to get my money back, and i feel like i’m being forced to purchase these. If you could help me to get a refund and cancel the order, that would be perfect. or if it’s too late and they do arrive, hopefully i will be able to return them. thank you so much!
