Mr. Yamada,**This is the *nd time an order from Mercari has mysteriously been cancelled due to an item being “damaged or defective” (which is quite odd, considering the item had already been ****pped). **Nonetheless - this purchase was going towards a special person. A co-worker recently had their house burn down. He, his wife and son were able to escape - unharmed, however they lost EVERYTHING and are struggling to make ends meet, living in a motel. **I was able to meet with his wife, and in tears - she explained that was she was so worried about the health of her ** year old son. That - he missed his PS* the most and that they had MANY other priorities to spend the few savings they have left on, on a gaming system. **Their story touched me greatly - so much, that I decided to purchase a used PS* with some games from your site to hopefully put a small smile on their faces during this sad time.**I texted them immediately - letting them know to expect a used PS* console and * games for their son by next week. **And then I get this email. **How can you allow this to happen without ANY consequence to the foolish seller? What am I supposed to tell this family now?**I’m sure you have a million other things to attend to besides replying to one of your millions of customers, but I thought as the head honcho of Mercari, you should know how some of the buyers are being treated. **Kind Regards,*Diana Jarava **Begin forwarded message:**From: "Mercari" ******@***.com**Date: June *, **** at *:**:** PM CDT*To: *****@***.com*Subject: Your transaction has been canceled: Selling Sony PlayStation * ***Gb*Reply-To: *****@***.com** *mercari* * *****o, Diana Jarava!* *Your seller has canceled the transaction for Selling Sony PlayStation * ***Gb**We've issued you a refund in the original form of payment. I trust that Mercari will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
