I booked a Megabus trip from Jacksonville, FL to my home in Atlanta, GA at approximately *:** am on Dec. **th when I thought that I did not have a ride. The person I was riding with needed to stay in Jacksonville another day but I had to get home. **My Megabus booking was for a trip that left Jacksonville for Atlanta at *:** p.m. When I arrived at the Greyhound Bus station in Jacksonville, there was no Megabus agent to speak to. The only person there was an agent from Greyhound and she could give me no assistance. I discovered that my ride was going to go to Atlanta after all. I wanted to cancel my Megabus booking. **There was no one to talk to -- to cancel my trip and give me a refund. Finally, I found a customer service number. Your customer service agent was rude and told me that I could not cancel. I explained that I booked the trip very recently, a few hours ago. I also tried to explain my situation but I was cut short and was asked, "Is there anything else I can help you with?" **When I persisted, she continued to tell me that I couldn't cancel*get a refund because cancellations need to be done * hours before a trip. What? Three hours before the trip I made reservations that I thought I needed. My money was accepted then. Why couldn't I get it back?**I do not want to trade for another trip in the future. I will not be using Megabus in the future. I am a senior citizen and plan my spending*budget carefully and want to get money back that I spent for a trip not taken. I paid $**.** for services not used. I would like a refund.
