Hello,*My name is Amanda Magno and I recently purchased * tickets for my friends and I to take the megabus from Durham,NC to Atlanta,Georgia on Sunday morning at *:**am. I purchased these tickets on September **st. We live in Cary,Nc and so we had to wake up and leave around *:**am to get there around *. We did this so we could avoid any possible chance of us missing the bus. Once we got there we were all excited and waiting for the bus. At *:**am I received an email saying that the bus would be delayed approximately *-* hours. At *:**am the bus finally arrived (over * hours late). The bus driver was extremely cranky and rude to not just us, but everyone else on the bus. He was also throwing around the luggage on the floor and treating our bags poorly. We got on the bus and sat on the second level. When we got on the second level everyone was cursing and complaining about the bus and the bus driver. The bus driver ran over the median of the sidewalk which caused the bus to delay * hours and maintenance had to come fix the bus. We drove around **-** minutes on the bus while it was bouncing up and down the whole time which cause me and my * friends back and neck to hurt. The bus driver kept hitting sharp turns and bumping onto higher grounds which caused me to hit my head on the seat while I was wearing a seat belt. I have a history of concussions and I will be happy to provide you with the medical information from my primary care physician at Duke Health. I have had to wear a neck brace * times over the course of * years and have had multiple concussions. After **-** minutes passed the bus driver said he could not drive anymore and that we would stop at a gas station to switch drivers. After all of this, we decided that maybe it would get better and to give it another try. The new bus driver came on and tried to drive out of the gas station. He then said on the intercom* “Man I can’t drive like this. I cant drive this bus, its broken.” Then he backed up and parked the bus again. We stayed at this gas station for ** minutes and we decided to get off the bus and drive to Atlanta instead. We were already injured and didn’t want anything else to happen to us. After that, the bus left, and we had to take a ** dollar uber back to Cary, NC to get our car and drive to Atlanta. I have video proof of everything and the time recorded is also provided on the video so, if you need proof I will be happy to send it to you. I want a full refund for this trip. We also paid to take a Megabus back home and we never want to ride Megabus again so I also want a full refund on that as well. In addition, I would like for the company to pay for the ** Dollar uber that we had to spend to get back home as well as any medical bills ( if needed) to take care of me and my * friends (* people total). If not we will take you to court and get attorneys involved. *Thanks, *Amanda Magno
