I am a frequent Megabus rider. I ride Megabus twice a week. This morning I was told that I could not take my backpack on the bus. I said, "Sir, I ride this bus all the time, I have even ridden it with him as a driver and have never been denied access to the bus because of my backpack. He told me that I would not be allowed on the bus my backpack had to go on the back. Here again I ride the New Orleans Megabus twice a week from Montgomery to Atlanta for two years and I have NEVER been told that I can not be allowed on with my backpack. I need this to not happen ever again because I have a job and it is easier for me in the mornings to not put my backpack with the luggage because I don't want to wait to find my backpack because in the morning I am trying to get to work. Futher more the rules state your allowed to have "carry on bag". SO WHY DID THIS BUS DRIVER WHO WOULD NOT GIVE ME HIS NAME DENY ME ENTRY ON THE BUS BECAUSE OF MY BACKPACK? Words cannot express how angry I am this morning regarding his rude behavior and if I didn't have to be at work I would not have ridden the bus today. PURE HARASSMENT best describes my experience with a Megabus driver. I would appreciate an immediate response to this matter . Browder *tracey@ yahoo. com Thank you!
