I took a lyft this morning. I accepted the fact that I had to wait ** mins for my ride and would reach work at *:** am. While on the ride another rider was added and that pushed my time up. I would be late for work and that would defeat the purpose of taking the Lyft. For the price I was charged I could've taken a regular cab and made it on time. After the other person was dropped off, he accepted another rider and now I would get to work even later. The pick up was close to my job (roughly * blocks away) and then he started driving away from my drop off location. I would then have been even later than if I took the train. I complained to the Driver and he told me next time take Uber! I understand this is a shared ride service but, you made me late for work and the Drivers statement didn't help. I will take the Drivers suggestion, take Uber or a regular cab service. It's cheaper and I don't have to worry about a tour of the city.
