Dear Lufthansa,**I was just on your flight from Vancouver to Frankfurt ( ****)where I am at the airport waiting for my connecting fligh right now to Milan. I felt the need to write you in between flight as I had the most disappointing experience on my flight to Frankfurt. I also want to say I am not the type of person to ever complain but I feel I have to say something.**When I first arrived at YVR airport I checked in my bag . The person that helped me did not charge me a luggage fee and didn’t tell me that I had to pay . When I went to board my flight the person who was helping my board asked me why I did not pay for my luggage. Isn’t that your staffs duty to ensure all the charges are paid for before I go past the security gate ? I ended up paying the fee before boarding. I was fine with paying it just didn’t understand how it seemed like this was my fault to begin with . Another woman took over and kindly helped me with the transaction **The international flight started very pleasant and the announcement through the intercom was friendly stating complimentary drink and that they were here to help accommodate our passengers needs.**After dinner I asked a stewardess kindly when he had a moment if I could have another glass of wine. He actually said he had a moment ( but in a. condescending way and ) that he would bring me a glass of wine. He didn’t . Again I tried to get another stewardess attention and actually had to get another passenger to tap her to get her attention. Again I asked for another drink, and she said she would help me after she was done with a customer. Again the tone was not very friendly and she seemed annoyed . Again the stewardess did not bring the glass of wine,. After no one came around to check in and the * stewardesses they walked thru avoiding eye contact. I ended up giving up and going to sleep.**Breakfast comes and they are serving tea and coffee. They ask the passengers beside me if they want tea but don’t even ask me. The coffee comes around - I ask for one. I don’t finish it- no one comes around to get the cup .to put in the trash . I am left with it and scared because I have very little room and a bag that it would spill all over me.**The people seated beside me whom were German descent were treated royally and kindly. Me on the other hand -a Canadian citizen with a Filipino descent -was treated very differently then the guest seated beside me. I wasn’t treated equally and felt actually very disrespected. It’s already stressful traveling already alone as a woman in a foreign country and having that experience to boot left me with a really bad taste in my mouth. I felt their was racial undertones on the treatment that I was receiving with your staff .**My partner (whom I’m meeting in Milan) and I booked both our flights with your airline as we trust your services as being professional, reliable and safe. And to be honest I feel the complete opposite of the reasons why We decided to book with your airline.**I want to ensure that this complain gets thru to someone that I know can address this complaint seriously. I have never been treated like this ever on a flight, and it has left me feeling completely shocked. **I would like to hear back regarding this complaint .**Kind Regards,*Redia
