Lowe's failed to call me to let me know my items were to be picked up at different store than agreed upon during purchase.

I placed an online order at Lowe's.com for store pickup at Lowe's of Columbus OH ***- order *: *********. I waited for the confirmation email and then my wife went to pick it up. Upon arriving, she was told the order had been canceled. After checking with another employee, my wife was told that they could not find the windows I had ordered in their store, so they transferred the order to the Dublin, OH store. We received no phone calls or emails regarding this matter. My wife made a ** minute trip to Lowes only to find out that the order was not available. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and would appreciate some sort of refund*rebate*consolation for all this trouble. I was supposed to start my project this evening, but I have to back it up because we are not able to make it to the Dublin Lowe's location tonight. I expect better customer relations from Lowe's and am very disappointed.
GetHuman-ntww did not yet indicate what Lowe's should do to make this right.
