The issue in GetHuman-maryleej's own words
On July * , **** at Lowe’s Bowie , MD store , we brought a GE Front Loader floor model for $***.** .We arranged for delivery on July **, **** and returned a day early from our vacation to accept it . After we called the day before to inquire why no message about delivery they called at *:** pm ( way too late for a commercial call ) .*At *am , as they said ,we got a call that said we were first delivery and the machine was ON the truck . Five minutes later , we were told they could not find our machine !*My husband made the mistake of hanging up . It took me ** minutes to get a person who said the delivery manager was at lunch .And would call me when he returned . I waited until **am ( from *:**am ) to try to get him . No luck .*Then I called the appliance department and spoke to someone who took information and put me on hold for ** more minutes . When he returned , he said they were working on it and would call me . Now , it is **am and I called customer care and told our story and he said hold on and I was DISCONNECTED ! So , I called again and repeated for the fourth or so time and was put on hold again . At least , she came back after about five minutes and said they sold the machine that we have ALREADY received a bill for !*The only person who has apologized in all this was the last customer care woman and that was after I complained that NO ONE said “wow , that must be upsetting “ . And , we lost a day of vacation and we are spending a day on the phone and we have a bill but no washer and we can’t leave to do errands because we are waiting for the “ manager “ to call .*What can you do ?*I think something !
