The issue in GetHuman-tammybor's own words
I've been to the E. Houston Lowe's at **** E Sam Houston Pkwy N in Houston, Tx many many times over the years and have never really been all that happy with my experiences, but this last visit has sent me over the edge. I went in to get the Worx weed eater*blower combo kit and bags of rocks for a project in the back yard. I'll start with the rock. I got * bags of the rock I was wanting, but that's because that is all there was at a level I could get to and assistance wasn't anywhere in sight. So I figured I would go inside and get the Worx combo kit then come back out and find someone to assist me with the rock. I was able to locate the combo kit on an upper shelf (not * was located within reach like all the other brands were) so I walked around for about ** minutes looking for an associate to assist me. With no such luck I went to the counter and pushed the button for assistance and waited patiently for another ** minutes. Out of frustration, I went back to the isle where to combo kit was and a few minutes later an associate came over with another customer that he was helping. After helping the other customer for a few minutes he went to walk outside with said customer to finish assisting him and on his way out finally acknowledged I was there and said he'd be right back to help me. I waited about ** minutes before walking out to the end of the isle and still saw nobody, then about * minutes later I saw the same associate helping another customer over by the light bulbs. By this point I am infuriated and just went and found a ladder and moved it to my needed position and got my own dam combo kit down (all with nobody noticing a thing). If this kit wasn't for someone else I would have walked out a long time ago! I don't know if it's because I'm a female in the "man's" section of the store or what, but this is not acceptable. Just to add the time up for you, I waited over ** minutes for assistance and I don't believe it was the associate's fault (most likely the lack of associates). This store is literally a mile from my house which is why I go to Lowe's instead of Home Depot that is about * miles away. However, after this visit I will no longer be going to Lowe's and I'm just going to pay off my Lowe's credit card and be done with your company. Truly the worst service I have ever had!!!
