I was trying to create and complete a Profile on LinkedIn . ... This is HAROLD WILSON , I just created my account today : July * ,**** . I was adjusting and making changes to my Profile information , and work History . Then all of a sudden - my Account gets Restricted ... And for what ? ? ? I did not do Anything ... I am just adjusting my Profile information and Bam ... For absolutely No Reason - my Account is all Locked Up ... For No Reason ... Please unlock my Account so I can finish making changes and adjustments ... This makes no sense here ... I have not even finished making my Profile adjustments on there ... **HAROLD WILSON **Email : *******@***.com **I would appreciate it ... ** What discrepancies were found in my Account ? ? ? Show me these alleged discrepancies that were found in my Account . And under what authority does a website on the internet , have to request The Government Issued Identification of any citizen of The United States of America ? What Government Agency issued LinkedIn , or any other Social Media Website the Authority to request a user to submit their Government Issued Identification to LinkedIn ? Or any other website on the internet which they are not an employee of ? I do not work for LinkedIn . So what reason does LinkedIn have , or what legal right under The Federal or State Laws of The United States of America * does LinkedIn have , to make such a request ? And still I am requesting to for you or any representative to show and point out these alleged discrepancies that exist in my Account * which I have not even completed yet . As a matter of fact , I was uploading a Profile Photo to my Account * when suddenly the Account was interrupted , and a screen popped up stating that my Account is Restricted * and there was no nudity , no sexual nature , or inappropriate material about my Profile Photo . And I was just adding former employers to my work experience just before I uploaded my Profile Photo . Which there are many Other People who have no Profile Photo . And there are many Other People who are obviously using Nick Names , or Pet Names , or Stage Names on their LinkedIn Profile . But I have not even had the opportunity to finish and complete my LinkedIn Profile . On the day of July * , **** is when I was happily go lucky filling out my LinkedIn Profile - after years of receiving invitations to join the many Friends & Associates that I used to work with in The Commercial Photography Industry , and The Feature Film Production Industry . I always put it off until July * , **** * when I attempted to create a Profile on LinkedIn , and join them on the website . So ----------* my Account Username is HAROLD WILSON . And my Account Email is : ******@***.com . I sincerely hope that my Account is taken off of RESTRICTED STATUS . There is absolutely No Reason , for my LinkedIn Account to be on RESTRICTED STATUS . Unless there is some prejudice of my Email Address : *****@***.com * . I have just caught that , it may be possible that a Monitor , or Administrator took a look at my Email Address : *****@***.com * and could have possibly took a prejudice or Cultural Profile of my Account and me - because of my Email Address : *****@***.com * ... I sincerely do hope that there are not People who are employed as Monitors or Administrators * who are intolerant of certain People of Other Cultures , or Ethnic Groups . I really do hope this is not the case ... But to be totally honest here : I can not think of any other possibilities here ... I have not contacted any other user or person on The LinkedIn Network ... I have not contacted any other user or person with The Connect Button ... I have not contacted any other person or user on LinkedIn at all ... ? ? ? So what is the problem here ? ? ? So what major violation have I committed here * on LinkedIn ... Was the Major Violation : Trying To Complete and Finish my Account Profile ? ? ? Seriously , what is The Problem here ? ? ? I Do Not See Any Reason For My Account To Have Been Put On RESTRICTION STATUS ... None . Please fix this problem . There are absolutely no alleged discrepancies found in my Account , as claimed by some over zealous Monitor or Administrator . There is no inappropriate Profile Photo ... There is Nothing there to justify placing my LinkedIn Account on RESTRICTED STATUS ... So if you or some Representative will remove this RESTRICTED STATUS , and Restore my LinkedIn Account * that would be very much appreciated . No Social Media , or website on the internet has the Authority to request a User's Government Issued Identification Card or Papers .
This should be resolved by removing my LinkedIn Account from : RESTRICTED STATUS . My Account should totally be restored .
Before I could finish or complete my Profile Page * my Account was interrupted - Locked Down * and placed on : RESTRICTED STATUS . So I never had the opportunity to become a Customer - Good or Bad .
Not as of yet . Not sure of any recourse . I need as much help , as I can find . If there are People who are reading this - Please Help !
