I just purchased a recertified lenovo ideapad *** from Amazon on Oct **, ****. This past week it started having some problems. First, I would be using it & everything was fine and i would get up and come back a few minutes later and the wireless mouse I use with it suddenly wouldn't work and neither would the built-in trackpad. With neither of those working and not getting a response from the windows home button or ctrl alt delete, all I could was was power it off and back on by holding down the power key. This has happened several more times during the last couple of days. I've tried rolling back drivers, etc. but am still having the same problem. Then after an automatic update, I got a blue screen error that said MACHINE CHECK EXCEPTION. It stayed stuck on that screen for more than an hour. I tried using a system restore but it got stuck on the screen that says restoring files and I finally had to just power it off again. Also, it is now just randomly powering itself off and back on. Ive tried almost everything I know, including resetting it and nothing is working. Please help.
