The issue in GetHuman-shetikad's own words
On August *st **** I went into the Kroger at *** Gallatin Rd. and purchased a Hawaiian Punch drink with my debit card. The cashier...name KeDasha was working one of the express checkout lanes. She rung me up and totalled me out. I swipped my debit card and hit the cash back option to receive $***. She cashed me out and gave me a $*** bill back. It wasn't until ** minutes later when I went to give the $*** to the person it belonged to that I discovered it was fake. I proceeded to call the store back and spoke to the manager to get the run-around about the situation. I then drove back to the store where I continued to keep getting the run-around about it. I still had the receipt and the money like I stuck it in my purse when I left the store. He made a copy of the receipt and said loss prevention would get in contact with me. Two days later I went back to Kroger and talked to another manager...name Adriana? Talley. She proceeded to tell me that whoever the first manager was I talked to that told me loss prevention was watching the video basically lied to my face because whoever the head person was was on vacation. About a week later I went back to Kroger and talked to a manager for the third time. She gave me the run-around. Sunday August **th **** I went to Kroger to grocery shop with my EBT benefits. After I was finished I returned the buggy inside the store and proceeded to the customer service desk to get Corporates number. Today...August **th **** I called **** Kroger and spoke to a customer service representative. I told her the story. She asked for the store number and placed me on hold to call the store and get some information. Ms.Talley tells her that they were not going to give me my money back because I left the store and how they didn't know I went home and switched the real hundred for a fake hundred. The customer service representative advised me to go have a police report done then seed it or call loss prevention and give them the claim number. I went and done the police report. Came home and called **** Kroger back. Now they saying I have to go into the store and talk to the manager and have them send it to loss prevention. They wouldn't even give me the contact information. This has been going on for ** days now. My children has sit at home all month long and couldn't go to school because they need a shot to go back. I have three children each with a $** copay to go to the doctor. I am a single parent and only have my children's income that I receive once a month on the *st. I just wanty money back. This has been a hassle for me. I will NEVER shop at Kroger's again.
