Hello I was at the K mart in Festus Missouri my wife and I had shopped for children and bought the numerous clothing items we waited for our turn now to check out when we got to the checkout we mention that we had had a coupon for **% off that we had forgotten the person before us at a similar coupon so we asked if they could just bring that up so that we got the discount I was told in no uncertain terms no with the no problem solving attempted I then asked if father was a military discount offered because I am a retired disabled veteran I was again told no with a very Curt and dismissive attitude II waited until she was done ringing up by attempted ask a number of different questions and again was dismissed by a very poorly customer service attenuated individual the final straw was as we got close to my being done a another veteran also disabled standing behind me in line that had been standing there for approximately ** minutes while we had waited for this young lady to a deal with the register I was told that the register was Close and he would have to go somewhere else I mention that that was wholly unprofessional and the very anti customer service to which the young lady responded well I wish supposed to leave already And she tapped her computer screen to emphasize how important it was for her to leave and how unimportant it was to take care of us know I asked to speak with a manager I received a manager who was also uninterested because he was due to leave I then went to the customer service desk to have my items wrong out told the whole story to her she seemed a somewhat disinterested I asked to speak with a manager about the situation and inquired about some sort of discount related to the whole experience and was told that the I could get $** off of my $*** purchase I found that to be somewhat ridiculous and definitely anti customer service I fully understand why K mart has experienced such a decline in its business I would like to speak with somebody in management and leadership that actually cares about your businesses customers particularly your company's customers that are disabled veterans my phone number is *** ******* my name is James Kahn.
