I went into the Kmart on Victory Blvd in Tabb, Va and attempted to check out in the * o'clock hour tonight **** at reg *. The cashier was horrifically rude. She scanned my first item, a purse that I picked up under a **% off sale sign. She extensively rummaged through the bag checking for any shoplifting items, and tearing out all of the inside packaging. She then looked at me with a stank look to pay, and I picked up my second item from the belt and handed it to her. This visibly annoyed her, and she struggled with how to get out of the total screen to add a second item. I asked about the price on my purse because it rang full price. I was advised that if it didn't scan on sale, it wasn't. She handed my purse to another cashier for a price check, and that cashier handed it to another cashier. Everyone just seemed to be looking at it. I asked if I could just pay for my second item and call it a day. Miss attitude had to wait for the purse to he handed back to void the item. Another cashier explained to her that she could just enter the skew number. This cashier didn't know how to operate her terminal and had zero customer service skill. I walked away from the transaction. I went to customer service and asked for a manager, but a manager would NOT come up to speak with me. How can you be a manager and not be able to speak with a customer. With lagging sales, maybe just maybe a little customer service would go a long way.
