I recently purchased * K Mart brand polo tops for my elderly father. They were too small (he didn't wear them, we held them up to him) and I returned to the store where I bought them to exchange them for a larger size. I was not going to return them. I was told I could not exchange them without a receipt. First off, the cashier failed to print one out for me at check out, she told me to just get it off my email.. Secondly, the K-Mart tags were intact and thirdly the merchandise was the store brand, So now, I am stuck with * unworn shirts. At a store that had * cars in the parking lot while the new Wal-Mart down the street had a packed lot, I am surprised they would alienate a faithful, longtime customer. I am extremely disappointed and am reconsidering my patronage going forward.
GetHuman-soulboss did not yet indicate what Kmart should do to make this right.
