I was on flight ***, **** from JFK to LAX. as I was the last group to board, the flight attendant took my bag and said I had to check it. My bag had no ID and I asked for a receipt. She told me not to worry, it would be there. Other people got receipts. Again I said that my name wasn’t in the bag and I see others getting receipts. She said they don’t always give them out. My bag was not there. The jet blue rep at LAX said my bag was located and would be at my hotel by ** pm. Then a phone call from you that while my bag should be on a flight getting in at *, it may not get till me till much later. At * am, no bag. I called again and discovered that my bag was still in NY. she also confirmed that they had no way to know if the bag was mine. The * other people said they could tell by my seat *. they could only tell by my identification of the items. I was not happy that strangers were in my bag. I informed the *rd person who I talked to that I was going to buy clothes, including shoes since I traveled in slippers. Things happen, I understand, but if the flight attendant had taken * minutes to give me an ID Tag and receipt, my bag would have arrived sooner and not rummaged through. I will be flying back on February **th. Under no circumstances will I check my bag
