I purchased ****.** worth of kitchen cabinets at the IKEA PA store in CA. They suggested using Traemand as the preferred installer. Everything was going well until I found several errors in their measurements. One error, which I notified the installer immediately by email showing pictures of the measurement error. The installer ordered a smaller cabinet (inside dimensions) than the required inside dimension for an Industry Standard Dishwasher. (All DW are approx. ** *** wide and installer ordered a cabinet a full inch short. These DW were clearly marked on the final work order and I sent her the dimensions (in an email with pictures) well before the final approval of the work order. Her solution to me was to buy a new DW (I already purchased two half drawer DW). I indicated this was unacceptable, she offered no other solutions and there were several. The same thing happened with the sink, gave her the sink dimension on the day of the measurement and sure enough the sink protruded into the left and right cabinets. I called Traemand HQ and spoke to Dave the regional manager who indicated the measurements were correct. Again, I have clear pictures. I also called Rick Caperello at IKEA PA who indicated he would assist in this matter but's its been three weeks. In order to install the DW's, I had to get the cabinets routed out *** inch on both sides in order to install these DW. Plus the filler I had to make myself for these two DW. The filler for the refrigerator (above*top) was not completed. There's over a quarter inch gap at the ends of the cabinet and the regional Traemand MGR said all this needs is sealant, Your kidding me, this requires molding not sealant as a solution. Denying the error and the sloppy job is insulting and IKEA needs to re-think their installers for IKEA PA. Please contact Rick Caperello at IKEA PA. I need a response please.
