The issue in GetHuman-dramaprn's own words
I’m very upset and irritated with this company and I will NEVER shop here again. I bought products in store last Sunday and had my delivery scheduled between *pm and *pm on Monday. I had be n waiting at my home since *:**pm on Monday and had no delivery. I called at *:**pm trying to figure out what was going on and I was told that they said they tried to deliver to me at *:**pm, which is a lie. I was told when I made the purchase I would get a call approximately ** mins before arrival and when they showed up, since my building is one that you have to get buzzed into and I got neither. I requested a full refund plus shipping fee refund as I was told by the agent that I would get a call within **hours. Here it is on day * and NOBODY HAS CALLED ME. I had to call today and got a woman on the phone telling me that they will be issuing me a gift card in the mail. I told her I didn’t ask for a gift card and I want my money back because I’m not shopping with IKEA anymore. She also told me that it’s not anyone’s job to call me back within ** hours (as the previous agent told me) and she doesn’t know why anyone would tell me that. She got nasty when she put in a second ticket and told me that they would call me within ** hours and I wanted to double check that someone would actually call me this time. After getting nasty about it I asked to speak to her manager because I no longer wanted to talk to her and she said “that’s fine because I don’t want to talk to you either and it’s not my job to listen to you vent, you can tell the store your problems when they call you back!” and hung up on me. The numerous times I have tried to call back it keeps telling me that it’s longer than normal hold times and they are unable to take my call. What kind of customer service is that? I will NEVER shop at your store again and not refer anyone else to either.
