The issue in GetHuman914180's own words
We previously bought a room divider from IKEA and were very pleased with it.*We recently bought a table and * chairs to match from IKEA on *******. It took awhile to put together and when we looked at the table it had a discolored top.*We were told to return the table to Paramus and it would be replaced. We returned the table with no problem and were given a ticket to pick up our new table. This is where the problems started.*After three hours of waiting we were finally told that there was no table in stock and would have to be delivered. After the first hour we will told they needed a special lift to get the table off the top. After the second hour we got the manager and he said he would find out what happened. After the third hour he returned to say there was no table. To compensate for waiting the manager said he would ship the table for free. The new order number is ********* issued ******** from Paramus store (***). It was supposed to be delivered *********. The date had to be changed to *********.*The date came with no call from IKEA or a shipper. We called the * (***) ***-****. After approximately * hours on the phone over * days we received * (***)***-**** for the shipper and was told there is no shipment coming and gave us *(***) **** the number of another shipper who told us no shipment was listed. We spent almost all day calling the *** number and kept getting the message,"Your call cannot be completed at this time call back later." When then called the manager Victor at * (***) ***-**** ext ****. Got his voice mail and left a message. The automated operator said call the * ***.*It still could not be reached.*At this point we like the chairs and would just like our table delivered.*We cannot seem to reach any one at IKEA to solve this problem.
