In July [redacted], I sent my [redacted] and [redacted] federal tax returns to the IRS. Despite following all instructions, as of December 21, [redacted], I have not received confirmation of their acceptance. I have already received my [redacted] refund promptly. I am looking for a phone number to speak to a representative who can access my records and address whether the IRS received my [redacted] and [redacted] returns, help resolve any issues, and guide me on how to receive the refunds for those years. I have moved but my bank account for deposits remains the same as my [redacted] refund and stimulus check.

I submitted the EZ - no filer form on paper in October. Recently released from federal prison after 10 1/2 years on firearms charges, I received a memo from the IRS stating I was eligible for the stimulus payment if I worked. The address I have is the halfway house, as I have been away for so long. However, the automated system is rejecting my address as invalid. Even my previous address is not being accepted. I am unsure if I filled out the form correctly and do not know where my check was sent.

I recently discovered that my [redacted] taxes were fraudulently filed by someone else who received a refund under my name and SS#. I am now unsure of what steps to take next. As like many others, I depend on my tax refund and I am hoping to rectify the situation by filing a correct return for [redacted]. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed. Thank you, Carla Coplen.

I recently discovered that the IRS reduced my [redacted] tax refund by $1,[redacted] incorrectly. After reviewing my tax return and transcript, I identified the issue and submitted all necessary documents to support my claim. The IRS informed me that they would reverse the change if I contacted them within 60 days, which I promptly did in October, two months ago. However, I have not received any response from them, and the refund has not been corrected yet. The remaining amount they erroneously withheld is crucial for covering our home closing costs.

I need advice. I have a dependent whose mother is attempting to claim him even though he has not resided with her for over a year. She currently does not have a permanent address. I have been providing for him since January [redacted], yet she plans to claim him in January [redacted]. He meets the criteria to be my dependent, despite us not being related. She lacks any evidence of providing for him this year. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am Ana M Martinez. I am reaching out regarding my delayed income tax deposit. I received a letter requesting a form for identity theft, which I have sent twice. When checking my income tax status, it previously indicated that it was being processed, but now shows an error. I have been trying to contact you via phone with no success. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you, Ana M Martinez.

I recently received paperwork claiming to be from the I.R.S regarding money owed on my federal and state tax returns. When I called the number provided to inquire about a missed payment, the woman on the phone mentioned I could pay at my convenience, as I had already paid a significant amount. This made me skeptical and led me to believe it might be a scam. After researching the number, I found information labeling it as a scam. I want to report this as I have been receiving numerous scam calls from different sources.

My former spouse is receiving mail from the Department of the Treasury Internal Revenue Service at my address. He has not resided here since [redacted] and seems to have not updated his address with the USPS or any other organizations in Ohio. It appears he is neglecting his debts with RITA, the State of Ohio, and Ashville SDT as well. He currently resides in North Carolina and works for Twiford Funeral Homes in Manteo and Elizabeth City. Please redirect all correspondence to his current address: Scott Howard Arden Willison [redacted] Raleigh Wood Drive Manteo, NC [redacted] Kindly refrain from sending any further mail for him to 12 May Avenue in Ashville, Ohio. I have provided his updated details for your records. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

When I filed my [redacted] taxes, the total amount was eight thousand three hundred dollars, but I haven't received any information about the pending payment. I've had the same address for 8 years, and I'm trying to contact the IRS to clarify if there are outstanding fees. Additionally, I need to update my debit card details since my previous card had fraud charges and was replaced by the bank. The checking account remains the same, but I want to ensure the IRS has the correct banking information. The account is with Fifth Third Bank or MB Financial.

I recently received a tax statement indicating additional taxes owed from a previous year, which took me by surprise. While I acknowledge the accuracy of the statement, I am currently unable to make the payment due to financial challenges exacerbated by the ongoing effects of Covid-19 on my income. My intention is to establish a long-term online repayment plan; however, I discovered that the IRS website for setting this up is not available until January 11. Despite my attempts to contact them directly, I only received a recorded message stating the unavailability of customer support due to high volume. As the tax debt has a today's deadline, I am seeking assistance from the IRS to address this matter and arrange a repayment plan. Thank you.

Last year, my girlfriend applied for my stimulus check and used her bank account since I didn't have one. We are no longer together, and I have no way to contact her as she moved out of state. The check goes to her bank account, but I want to change it to my banking information and routing number. Thank you.

I need to verify the address the IRS has on file for me. My tax refund from filing in March **** has not been received, despite requesting direct deposit and providing my bank information. It still shows as "processing". While my first stimulus check was sent to the address from my **** tax return, I wonder why my current direct deposit details weren't used. The IRS has my **** ez form from H&R Block but hasn't processed it yet. I want to confirm my address for the upcoming stimulus check delivery and ensure my [redacted] refund was submitted correctly with accurate bank details for direct deposit. I also question why the stimulus payment wasn't sent via direct deposit, especially as I receive unemployment benefits without issues this way for the past 6 months. I wish all my government benefits could be paid using the same method.

I need to verify my address with the IRS. Despite filing my tax return in March ****, I have not received my refund which I requested to be directly deposited into my bank account. The status simply shows as processing. While my first stimulus check was mailed to the address on my **** tax return, I wonder why they did not use my updated direct deposit information. The IRS has received my online **** EZ form through H&R Block but has not processed it yet. I want to confirm my address for the upcoming stimulus check and ensure my **** refund was submitted accurately with the correct bank details for direct deposit. I'm confused as to why my stimulus payment was not deposited directly, especially since I receive unemployment benefits through the same method without any problems. It would be more convenient if all government benefits were paid consistently.

I recently discovered an issue with my [redacted] W-2 forms from my previous employer. Initially, incorrect W-2s were sent out, leading me to file my taxes with the wrong information. After sending in an amended return in March, the IRS seems to have not received or processed it due to the Covid-19 shutdown in Fresno, California. A former colleague informed me that the IRS is now addressing the matter, and my status on IRS.gov changed last month. However, when attempting to check my status recently, the website displayed an error message. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach a live representative for assistance, causing frustration and confusion.

I encountered an issue with my stimulus payment. The first payment was directed to the incorrect account, despite providing the right information to the IRS. Subsequently, my second stimulus payment, dated January 4, was also sent to the same incorrect account. I diligently followed instructions provided by an IRS representative, downloaded and filled out the required documentation, and sent it to the Fresno IRS office back in June. Following this process, I have not received any correspondence or updates. To my dismay, upon checking my payment status, I discovered that the second stimulus payment was deposited into the same incorrect account on January 4. This situation has left me short of $[redacted], and I am urgently in need of resolution.

My first stimulus check was deposited into my bank account, which may be closed as I recently moved and haven't used it. I'm having trouble tracking it down. I apologize for the inconvenience, and please note that my address has changed. I believed I had to submit another form, but the second payment was sent to the original account. I'm unsure if the funds went to the old address or the bank account. If so, how can I rectify this to ensure the payment is redirected to my new address?

I contacted TurboTax and was informed that they have not yet received my stimulus check. They advised me that once they receive it, it should be directly deposited into my account. However, your website states that the check is being mailed to me. I am confused about the status of my payment and would appreciate clarification.

I checked the site, and it shows that my second stimulus payment of $[redacted] was sent by mail on 1-23-[redacted]. The first payment I was supposed to receive was stolen and cashed by someone else. It took seven months to resolve that issue. All my taxes were filed electronically, so I wonder why this payment was sent by mail instead of being deposited directly into my account. I have updated my banking information to my Chase account, but I have not received the check yet. I am concerned about the possibility of it being stolen again. How long does it usually take to receive the check, and can I request a trace on it to ensure it has not been cashed? Thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards, D. Wallack

I mistakenly transferred my entire IRA to a Roth account this week instead of just a portion. I intended to leave $1,[redacted] in the IRA to cover this year's minimum required distribution as I am 71 years old. Now that the entire amount has been transferred, I need to find out what options I have to satisfy the MRD. The transfer was completed two days ago. I am wondering if I can do a reverse conversion to fulfill the MRD requirement. If this is not possible, I am seeking guidance on how to proceed without incurring any penalties for not taking my MRD. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulties reaching someone via phone, therefore, I am sharing my concern in writing. My tax return for [redacted] was submitted electronically on March 30, [redacted], yet I have not yet received it. The website indicates it is still being processed. Due to being a high-risk type 1 diabetic amid the Covid-19 outbreak, I was let go from my nursing job at an assisted living facility. I am perplexed as to why such a simple tax return is taking an extended period to process. After speaking with a representative on the phone, I learned that there was an issue with a missing form related to health insurance from the marketplace. I promptly sent the required information via fax but have not received any updates for months. As I prepare to file my [redacted] return, the delay in my [redacted] return is becoming a concern. Contact me at Jaye4000[at]hotmail.com or [redacted] for further details. Thank you for your assistance. - Jason Bednar, 42 Clingan St., Hubbard, Ohio [redacted].
