I have received two notices from the IRS claiming I owe over $8,[redacted] for [redacted] taxes, despite sending my [redacted] tax return to the Kansas City MO office on April 4, [redacted]. My filed return shows a $[redacted].81 refund for my wife and me. The notices, dated March 23, [redacted], and November 16, [redacted] (CP504), threaten a levy on our state tax refund or property. I've attempted to contact [redacted] on the latest notice with no success. The March notice (CP22A) improperly calculated my tax liability, assuming a separate return for me instead of our joint status. I request immediate processing of our return for the appropriate refund and cessation of further letters from the IRS. Sincerely, J.G. Hooper

I filed my amended return in January [redacted], but the IRS was closed due to COVID-19 until recently. My amended return was received around April 12th or 13th. When I called the number provided in the "Where's My Amended Return" tool, the representative mentioned that processing could take up to 16 weeks, with the deadline being the 20th. Despite this, I have yet to receive any update on my taxes, and it's becoming frustrating as I need the income to cover my bills during these tough times. The representative couldn't confirm whether I would receive a check or a direct deposit, mentioning that most are being deposited due to COVID-19. I'm eager to know when I can expect my tax refund to arrive and whether it will be deposited.

We submitted an amended tax return on July 15, [redacted], sent via return receipt certified mail to the IRS. According to USPS tracking, it was received at the designated IRS site on July 17, [redacted]. Strangely, the IRS signed for it only on July 27, [redacted], as per our return receipt. Despite numerous checks on the IRS website, there is still no update on the status of the amended return. The Health Market has also informed us that they have no record of our amended filing, which included vital tax information related to health insurance coverage. In the amendment, my name, Ann C. Kearney, was added to my husband Gary A. Druce's tax return, changing it to a joint filing to reflect our health insurance coverage for [redacted]. This adjustment was necessary as the policy was under my name. We utilized Turbo Tax for self-employed individuals for our tax preparation.

I have not received a stimulus check yet. I used the IRS non-filers website to file my information, but after waiting for a while, I still haven't received anything. I have double-checked the information I provided on the form multiple times, but I still haven't received any payment. I am hoping to resolve this issue soon so that I can receive the second stimulus check. The money would be really helpful for my home and I would like to make sure I receive it on time.

I recently received a notice from the IRS regarding taxes and penalties from [redacted]. My late husband used to handle our taxes, and since his passing, I've been struggling to get the necessary information from the IRS. Every time I call, I am put on hold for over an hour, disconnected, or transferred multiple times without any resolution. I am unable to access his IRS account as I do not have his PIN or username. The lack of assistance is frustrating, and I am in need of help to resolve this issue promptly. MH Fason

I recently discovered that my [redacted] tax return was rejected when I received a CP450 notice on October 20, [redacted]. I tried contacting the IRS by phone, but couldn't get through. So, on October 22, [redacted] at 09:47, I faxed my return to 1-[redacted] after speaking with an IRS Representative. I also sent a copy by mail. However, I recently received an LT26 Notice dated 11/24/[redacted], where a helpful lady informed me that the IRS had no record of my submissions. I have a USPS receipt dated November 02, [redacted], proving I mailed the required documents. I'm worried about facing penalties from the IRS despite my efforts to respond to their notices. The latest notice was only received on November 30th, after the November 24 date. The IRS requires the information by December 4th. Due to challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm struggling to resolve this issue with the IRS. I hope to receive assistance or a fax number to resubmit my [redacted] Tax Return promptly.

I require assistance with filing my taxes. Previously, I would visit the public library in my neighborhood for help, but due to Covid-19, they are closed. I have tried other local options that provide free tax preparation for seniors, but they are fully booked before the October deadline. The facilities I relied on are now closed, leaving me unsure of what to do. I have only completed my taxes once before and made mistakes resulting in owed fees and penalties, making me hesitant to attempt it alone. I am seeking help to find a free tax preparation service to settle my [redacted] tax debt. Additionally, as my teaching job has been on hold since March, I may need to arrange a payment plan.

I am inquiring about a friend who is currently incarcerated. He completed his paperwork for his Economic Impact Payment (EIP) around 10/9/[redacted]. He specified his income as 0 and provided all necessary information on the [redacted] form. Surprisingly, individuals who submitted their forms after him have already received their checks. We are uncertain about the processing time as the website does not seem to be updated for everyone. Any insight on the typical duration for the payment to be issued would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Thank you.

I recently received a Notice from the IRS (CP523) stating their intention to levy or terminate my installment agreement. However, I have been diligently making monthly payments and have confirmed them in my online IRS account. I suspect the confusion arose when I changed my payment method from direct deposit to manual payments. I am looking to appeal the termination of the installment agreement and would appreciate guidance on how to clear up this issue. Thank you for your assistance.

I submitted my [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] tax forms online within the deadline, but the IRS keeps rejecting them. Despite mailing my [redacted] return, I have not received any response from them. Turbo Tax e-filed my [redacted] form, but the IRS rejected it as well. Now that I am 18 and have been working part-time, I am in need of my refunds and want to resolve this before the next tax year. I have exhausted all my options and feel lost about what steps to take next. - C.

I am experiencing an issue with my tax refund being withheld due to discrepancies with my W2s that were not filed by two of my employers. Despite sending the necessary documents via certified mail to the IRS address provided, they claim not to have received them, which is causing significant financial strain. I am looking to schedule an appointment locally to personally submit the physical W2s to ensure the release of my refund. Best regards, JC

I have not received my [redacted] tax refund yet. I mailed it in the second week of March [redacted] but do not have the refund amount. The system is prompting me to provide the return amount and exact date of sending to proceed. Your assistance with these issues is greatly appreciated. Thank you, T. Shillingford.

Hello, we filed our taxes in April [redacted] and were supposed to receive a refund of $3,[redacted]. However, we have yet to receive it. When using the tracking tool provided, it states that my data does not match, even though I am inputting the correct information directly from our tax return, including SSN, exact amount, and filing status. Could you assist us in looking into the status of our refund? Thank you, J.L.

I need to discuss my tax amendment filed for [redacted]. I mailed two paper amended returns - the first on April 14, [redacted], and the second in Jul [redacted]. The IRS requested another copy in July, along with proof of the original letter from April [redacted]. I recently received a response stating I missed the 3-year window. However, I did include proof of the April 13 postmark in the document package I sent in April.

I returned my tax documents on March 17, [redacted], to the Fresno PO Box with my family. Initially, I sent the original signed copy on March 14, which your office received on March 17. Additionally, I sent another copy on July 29, [redacted], with USPS Tracking number [redacted][redacted]98. This was delivered on August 3, [redacted], but I have yet to receive my tax return. I recently received a response indicating that my submission was missing my signature on Form [redacted] and my W-2 form. I believe they might have processed the second submission without these signatures instead of the first complete one. I have since made sure to include all necessary signatures and attached a follow-up letter with the original signed documents. Despite my efforts, it's nearing the year's end, and I still have not received my return, unlike my family members who have theirs.

I submitted my [redacted] taxes in July [redacted] using Freetax USA, but I wasn't informed until mid-August that I needed to mail them in. I sent them by the end of August or early September [redacted], and I have been waiting for them since. It is now mid-December [redacted], and I still haven't received any updates on the status of my taxes. I have called multiple times, but there is no information available. I would appreciate it if someone could provide me with an update on my [redacted] taxes. Thank you.

I received a certified letter from the IRS two weeks ago indicating an immediate payment was due, but unfortunately, I have misplaced the document. I now need to establish a payment arrangement but have encountered challenges reaching the IRS customer service. I attempted calling them at least six times, starting around 2:00 pm, but the long wait times (ranging from 47 minutes to over an hour) made it difficult to stay on the line. On some occasions, the office closed before I could speak to someone. I have also tried using the get.human service to no avail.

I recently received a letter stating I filed my taxes late, but I actually submitted a form for an extension since I qualify for free tax assistance as a low-income senior. I am currently not working due to being a substitute at a school and cannot afford the amount owed, especially with no unemployment benefits to rely on. I reached out to various organizations during the summer, like VITA, to help with my taxes, and the IRS advised me to file for an extension, which I promptly did. In July, unsure of my tax liability for the year, I sent in a money order along with the extension form. Recently, I had H&R Block assist me with my taxes for a fee of $[redacted]. I managed to send $[redacted] to the IRS and $61 to the state, but the interest is overwhelming, and I kindly request it to be waived as I am struggling financially, unable to even cover my rent.

Good evening, I am inquiring about claiming the $[redacted] for my qualifying child that was not received for the coronavirus relief stimulus check. I did submit a non-filer application and received the $1,[redacted] for myself, but did not receive the portion for my daughter. I am unsure of the steps needed to rectify this and would be happy to provide any necessary information when contacted by an agent. Kindly reach out to me at [redacted] to assist with this matter. Thank you, M. Estrella

Hello, I filed my tax returns in April [redacted], but I still haven't received my refund. The IRS's "Where's my refund" tool has been showing the message "We have received your tax return and it is being processed" for a few months now. I'm hoping for some assistance in expediting the process and getting my refund. I'm uncertain why it's taking so long, especially considering the current pandemic circumstances.
