My husband and I received a letter (dated *******) indicating that our tax return information was being reviewed and that we should call the number provided (*-***-***-****) if more than ** days had passed and we hadn't received our refund or any further information. The time has passed and I called. However, I was unable to get through to a person and simply accessed a recorded message saying that our refund was still being processed. I feel that I am entitled to more information about the status of my refund. What can I do to expedite the process and*or learn more about what is going on?
