Find out when Home Depot was going to deliver my new refrigerator. ... Home Depot promised a delivery date of **** (it still looks like that on the order history on the website). It not only did not arrive yesterday, no one could assure me of the date it would arrive. Today I was told it would be delivered on **** but they would not guarantee it. I am trying to manage this from California on a New Mexico delivery and these delays and vague schedules which can apparently be changed without notice to the buyer are totally unacceptable. There is no direct phone line to the delivery department. If the refrigerator is not delivered by close of business on the **th I am not only cancelling that order, but the order for the washer & dryer I also placed. I want Home Depot to live up to its word. I had to go to a great deal of trouble to ensure that someone would be available on the **th to take delivery and now I must ask them to keep the **th open just in case the thing really does get delivered. If they couldn't keep their promise before the **th, they should have said so at the time of the order. Totally and utterly disgusted with such poor business practice.
This was especially frustrating because I have had to ask my agent to be ready to take delivery, as I am presently in another state, and she had cancelled all her commitments for the promised day. Neither of us was advised until I chatted with customer service that the delivery was delayed.
I want that refrigerator in place no later than close of business on the **th and I want that guaranteed.
I not only have ordered a refrigerator but a washer & dryer from Home Depot, thinking they were reliable.
Tried using HD live chat. They couldn't get the delivery agent to guarantee anything.
