I prepaid a flooring order at the Kona Hawaii store on March ** **** after being told by Beth * weeks previous that the product was in stock and had the house measured..*Went to the store to to check on the install date only to be told it was on order and would be * weeks. After the * weeks it would take * more weeks acclamation at my residence.*I went along with all this ,and when it was scheduled to be installed ,I was told by Kimo in store management that the installer would not be able to do the install as he was very busy and the air quality was not too good.**It is now June *th, and I had to find my own installer since the Home Depot installer won't do the install.*When I called for my refund on the install Mike Duncan told me I would have to wait weeks more to get my install money back.*I have to now pay again as Home Depot has my money and will not return it.*The $****.** they are holding and not releasing is costiing me now $****.***The matter was refered to Tracie the store manager ( even though Kimo said he was the store manager) and I still have not heard back from Tracie, Kimo , or Mike as to what is happening to my refund.*I realize I am only one customer, but on this island I would think that a refund owed would be a priority.**The news media here said this is a story they would cover to take the volcano off everyones' mind.*I would appreciate an expedited refund of the money I paid for the installer over * months ago.*Thank You,*Paul Reeves*A very unhappy Home Depot customer and stockholder.
I trust that Home Depot will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
