Myself and a friend have organised a trip to the alps for only * days. We were both due to arrive this morning (**th Feb) in Lyon, I arrived at **** but my friend has been delayed in Paris so instead of arriving **** he will now be here ****. My friend booked the car with you so as much as I’ve tried I cannot find a way for me to pickup the car even though I have the booking email and my friend can talk on the phone or confirm through email to authorise me to pick it up. So now I have to wait until he arrives which will be over * hours, I’m willing to do that but I have **kg of luggage and it is a **min walk to the airport, I can’t get onto the shuttle with all my luggage without causing problems so I had asked in the hertz branch whether I might be able to leave * of my bags so I could then go back to the airport and at least grab some food but they are not willing to hold the bags. I understand there is protocol but I’m sat here in the office with no other customers at the desk whilst the staff laugh and joke around and have made no effort at all to make things any easier. I’ve not known such disrespectful service and I’ve lost a day of out already short trip.
