The issue in GetHuman-icuinva's own words
I have an HP Officejet Pro ****, purchased Sept. *, **** (a wonderful printer). It recently gave me the error message: "Missing or failed Printhead" Error Code *xc**a******I researched on your support site and ordered a replacement printhead, part *CR***A. It arrived today (**********).**The first error message, after inserting the new part and cartridges was that the cartridges (*** or ***xl) were for an older version of my printer. Therefore they would not print. I replaced them with *** cartridges and that error message went away.**The second failure was an inability to align. Although it processes a print job, the paper has only minimal ink marks, none of which are readable.**What can be done? Patty Devine, Order *******-*****

I have an issue with HP too
How GetHuman-icuinva fixed the problem
The ink cartridges that were sent with the replacement printhead were expired or incorrect for the model I was fixing. Changing to new ink cartridges and then realigning them solved the problem. Now I must deal with HP Support*Supplies to refund the cost related to the improper*expired ink cartridges.
