My HP Z** *K UHD monitor will not consistently turn on or connect to my Apple computer. Once it does connect, I often get messages that say can't connect and the screen goes blank. Sometimes, without any action on my part, it will correct itself, the message will go away and it will perform as expected. Sometimes this happens even after I've been using it for awhile. Yesterday, I couldn't even get the light to come on indicating it was on. In desperation I unplugged it from the wall outlet and replugged it back into the same wall outlet. It turned on and immediately showed what was on my computer screen. I was thinking it might be the connection cords as sometimes, wiggling the connection points will cause it to work, but not always. After this last episode, I'm not so sure. Sometimes changing the port I connect to on my computer helps, but not always. Is this a fault in the computer it's self? Until I had the issue with the electric cord that plugs into the wall, I thought it was the cord that connects the computer and monitor. I'm not sure now. Please help.
