Just purchased HP Envy Desktop ***-****. I set it all up went thru all on-screen set up successfully. But then opened disc driver, inserted an installation CD (for one of my personal programs I use for home office) and nothing happened. SO, went to re-open disc driver and all it does is make a rattling sound and WILL NOT OPEN! CD prob inserted wrong cause all I've ever had are CD drawers, not vertical ones. But shoot! I've been using computers since day one (I'm **), I recognize a CD slot when I see one so PLEASE treat me appropriately! I've tried the eject from screen but will still just rattle. Anything I can do short of taking apart? Forcing open with a butter knife? Taking to repair shop? Nearest one is an hour away! Help!!
