My name is Sarah May. I haven’t used my Groupon for The Waxing Studio (Huntersville, NC) and I want a refund.**My dad died last Tuesday. I had to drive to MS on Wed. I tried to cancel my waxing appointment for Wed. online, but it was within ** hours of the appointment, so I couldn’t cancel online. I called the business and left a voicemail message with my name and phone number telling them what had happened. I also left an online message. No one contacted me. My credit card was charged, including a forging on the signature pad. I called again later in the week and left another voicemail. No response. **When I got back to NC, I went up to the studio. Octavia was cold and instantly defensive claiming that she had not received any contact from me and that she is “very good at keeping in contact with all her clients”. **She issued me a one time refund. I called and left a message at the studio (same number I had been using to contact her the past week). When she texted me the pic verifying the refund, I asked if she received the voicemail that I had sent earlier that day. She said she had. **So, in short, she -**) forged a signature from my credit card.**) ignored multiple attempts to get this sorted out on the phone. **) Lied about not receiving multiple voicemails throughout the week.**) only issued a refund because I confronted her in person. **I want a refund for my Groupon ********. I never want to deal with this business again.
