The issue in GetHuman-mountsj's own words
This is a long story and going to be confusing! Yesterday I purchased a Groupon for * microdermabrasion treatments at Juvly for $***. I opened*viewed one of the vouchers before my appt with them but did not redeem it. After consultation with the aesthetician she recommended a different treatment and advised I try to get refunded from Groupon so I could purchase a Groupon for the correct treatment (a glycolic? Chemical peel for $***). So, I was able to trade in the one voucher for a microdermabrasion that I hadn’t viewed (worth $**) and put it toward the $*** chemical peel Groupon, so I then owed $** difference. I was unable to trade in or cancel the other $** microdermabrasion voucher because I had “viewed” it. I called and spoke to an Alexander at Groupon immediately after this and explained the situation, asking for a refund of the one $** microdermabrasion voucher (since I had already traded in the other toward the purchase of the new chemical peel groupon). He said he could, put me on hold, and then came back and said he refunded me and should be for about $*** meaning he had refunded me for all * Groupons which I didn’t want but said that’s fine i’ll Just repurchase the $*** chemical peel Groupon. So, I looked at my bank statement and it initially only said I was refunded $** but then as of this morning I have not been refunded anything, shows the original $*** was taken out of my bank, and I now have no Groupons at all showing in my Groupon account. All I wanted to happen was to have the one $** microdermabrasion Groupon refunded that I wasn’t able to trade in or cancel because I had opened it but not redeemed it. And I wanted the chemical peel Groupon that I had purchased for $** (and traded the other $** one in toward) to stay in my account.
GetHuman-mountsj did not yet indicate what Groupon should do to make this right.
