I submitted a dispute on October 29th and provided all the necessary documentation. I was informed that you received it, but I have been waiting an additional 12 days for my refund. Despite assurances from supervisors and customer service representatives on multiple occasions, the refund has not been processed. During my last call, an agent accessed my account without proper verification, only confirming my first and last name. I am uncomfortable with this breach of privacy. Every time I contact customer service, I am asked to verify multiple forms of private information, but this was not the case. I did not want to escalate this to the BBB, but it seems like my only option since I am not seeing any progress otherwise.

I purchased a Green Dot card and loaded $50 onto it. When I tried to use it for a $49.95 purchase, the card was declined. Despite several attempts, it continued to be unsuccessful. I later discovered that I unknowingly signed up for the unlimited debit card. After calling customer service and waiting for a long time, I was hung up on by a woman before I could explain my issue. Upon reconnecting, I spoke to a man who claimed I only had $18 on the card due to monthly fees of $10 each. I was shocked as I hadn't even used the card. Despite my attempts to clarify, he abruptly ended the call. I feel like I've been scammed and I am adamant about getting my money back. The situation is particularly frustrating as I didn't need the unlimited debit card sent to me, especially when $32 of my original balance seemed to have vanished.

My name is Garrett Dotch, and I applied for a Green Dot card six months ago to receive my stimulus check. Unfortunately, I never got the card as I had moved. I recently discovered that my $[redacted] is on a card I never received after checking with my social security number and 8-digit birthday. I have contacted customer service multiple times, waiting over an hour each time. I need assistance in accessing my funds. Can a new card be sent to my current address or can the money be transferred to my friend's Green Dot card? I am willing to provide an account and routing number for the transfer. I had 2 disputes. The first claim #[redacted] resulted in transactions I did not recognize. I had $[redacted] deposits stolen through Cash App. I do not use this app, so this situation is unacceptable. I found out that there is no live chat support, but someone claimed to chat with me and obtained my ID. After a small amount was credited back to my card, it disappeared, even though I hadn't received the card yet. I opened a second claim #[redacted] for the $[redacted] credited, but now it shows as closed with a message promising a refund within one business day several days ago. I am frustrated because I have been dealing with this issue for over a month. My car was repossessed, and I lost my job during this time. I urgently need the $[redacted] that was taken from my card. I activated my Green Dot Visa Prepaid card recently, only to have it immediately locked due to "previous activity." The company requested my identification for review within 2 days, a process I repeated multiple times. I've tried to contact customer service through various channels, but have had no luck reaching anyone for almost 2 weeks. My account is still locked, preventing me from accessing my funds, yet I was still charged the monthly fee promptly. I have since discovered on the BBB website that others have experienced similar issues with Green Dot Corporation. It seems they have a pattern of mishandling customer funds, providing poor customer service, and engaging in questionable practices, such as locking users out of their funds while continuing to charge fees. This has been a frustrating and concerning experience.

I am interested in opening an account, but the information on the website is unclear to me. 1) I want to transfer 20K into a savings account. 2) What is the interest rate and the terms of the account? 3) Is direct deposit required? If so, what are the terms? 4) What are the requirements for the double cash card mentioned? 5) What is the minimum amount to open the account and the number of withdrawals allowed per month? 6) Are there any fees for using the double cash card? 7) Are there monthly fees? I have several questions, but there are no representatives available. This doesn’t seem like the best customer service approach judging by the reviews I've read. 8) I am looking for a fee-free account option.

I clearly expressed my concerns as a new potential customer. I attempted to contact the provided phone number multiple times to get some questions answered before signing up, but I kept getting disconnected as they couldn't recognize the information I provided. I made several attempts with different variations but couldn't reach a live person. As an adult, I expect to be able to find a customer service number and ask basic account opening questions.

My email is [redacted] Since October 30, [redacted], my card has been hacked, and I am seeking assistance to dispute all transactions made after this date. I have not received funds deposited to my card due to the theft. My phone and wallet were stolen along with my identity information. I now have a different phone number and wonder if I should update it and remove the old number with my previous bank information.

I recently discovered that my money card was stolen. I am highly concerned about someone misusing the funds, especially if my disability check has been deposited onto it. I urgently request a block to be placed on my card. Oddly, I cannot access my account using my birthdate, and I suspect that my birthdate may have been altered in the system. My name is Billy Barker. When attempting to log into my account on greendot.com, I am prompted to choose a verification method to receive a code. However, the phone number and email address associated with my account are no longer accessible or correct. Without this code, I cannot access my account. I need to update my contact information to regain access.

I mistakenly loaded my Amazon Flex debit card with $[redacted] at the ATM in a Walgreens in Boston, Massachusetts. Despite the ATM receipt showing the deposit was successful into my checking account, the money did not reflect on my card. After numerous attempts and calls to customer service, I have been directed to both Amazon Flex and the ATM provider without a resolution.

On November 25th, a charge of $[redacted].82 appeared as pending in Morrisville, NC where I rented a car. Despite it being pending since the 25th and still showing as pending today, the rental company claims they do not see the pending charge and advised me to contact my card provider. I am confused about the duration of pending charges and where the money goes when it is deducted from my account even though Alamo Rental does not have it. Additionally, I recently resolved a double charge issue. On November 22nd, I made a payment of $35.82 which was successfully posted. However, a duplicate charge of the same amount appeared on November 27th. The rental company acknowledged the error and credited my account with $35.82 to rectify the situation.

I need to speak with a live agent as the automated system is not allowing me to do so. There seems to be no other way around this. My email address and phone number have been updated. I have already provided this information over the phone to the payee (a child support agency) and have copies of transaction records showing deposits in my bank account. I am unable to log in online, I never received my card, and I can't reach anyone on the phone. Assistance required.

I recently lost a card with over $[redacted]. I contacted a representative who promised a replacement within 2 days, but it arrived 4 days later. Unfortunately, the new card has the wrong balance. I am frustrated with the delay and the difficulty in receiving a correct card from Greendot. It's challenging to reach a live person when I call customer service, often waiting for up to an hour and a half.

I bought a Green Dot card from CVS and loaded it with $[redacted] a week ago. Now, I can't access my account because it's asking for a picture of my ID. When I try, it stops after entering my card number. I'm frustrated because I can't access the money I loaded. I want my account closed and a check sent to my address on file. I have been on hold since 11:30 a.m. this morning until 5:17 p.m. due to my compromised card and missing money, leaving me with only $[redacted] that I cannot access. Numerous unauthorized transactions were made, including multiple charges from Lifeway Christian Resource, a few from a food bank, and a substantial one from victoriasecret.com. After several frustrating interactions with customer service representatives, my card was not canceled or replaced as promised, and I am unable to stop further fraudulent charges. I am left without funds, including my work check's direct deposit, and Green Dot's lack of assistance is disheartening. The repeated transfer to automated systems and unclear communication have only added to my distress. I urgently need my money refunded and a new card issued to support my family. The inefficiency and lack of concern from Green Dot are unacceptable, and I require immediate resolution to this situation.

I have a Westgate account set up for autopay. I mistakenly made two payments of $[redacted].00 thinking one was going to be late. I reached out to Westgate for a refund, which they processed the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
