I utilize Gmail from Google. Recently, I noticed a discrepancy with the date of an email I sent when I attempted to search for it. The displayed date did not align with the actual date of sending. I am wondering if this is a common occurrence, potentially indicated by a system bug. Are you familiar with similar issues happening on Gmail, where emails may display incorrect dates?

I recently changed phones and forgot the password to my email address, [redacted] Unfortunately, I no longer have access to the phone number linked to that account. Additionally, I have experienced identity theft and I am concerned about any unauthorized access to that email. I need to check it to ensure it was not compromised during the incident. Thank you. - Lindsay C. Contact: [redacted]

I recently received an early Christmas present - a new iPhone. I was accustomed to using an Android device with the phone number [redacted], which is no longer in use. I hadn't updated my Google account information with my new number [redacted] before switching to the iPhone. Now, I'm locked out of my Google account because I can't receive the verification code on my new phone. I'm at a loss because I'm unable to access any Google services on my new device. Unfortunately, without another email account, I'm unsure how to proceed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had been using my Gmail account for both personal and business purposes. Although I created a separate business email through Google Mail, I preferred the convenience of having just one email account. I had many clients still using the business email, and it was linked to my Facebook account. Things were going smoothly until a friend unknowingly allowed her boyfriend, who turned out to be a professional hacker, to access both of my accounts. This breach led to a nightmare where my phone number, Facebook, and all Google-related accounts were compromised. I've even had to move out due to the severity of the situation. In addition, I am currently under IRS audit, and crucial business and personal data stored on my email accounts are inaccessible due to numerous phone number changes. I urgently need access to these accounts for business purposes, data recovery, and to assist the private investigator I've hired. I believe providing a photo ID may help resolve this issue. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My spouse recently changed her Google password and got logged out. To log back in, she needs a two-factor authentication code sent to her US phone number, but it's not being delivered, likely due to the number being registered in Israel. Google suggested sending the code to her Gmail, but she's locked out of it. We were informed a reset link could be sent to my email after 48 hours, but later received an email saying this wouldn't happen since my wife's account is active on an unidentified device. We're seeking assistance from a Google representative.

My husband has taken over my email account by changing the password and accessing all my photos and videos. I have attempted to recover the account multiple times without success. There were important details in the account related to my sister's and mother's passing. The email in question is [redacted] I am unsure of the new password. Please contact me for assistance. Thank you.

I am having trouble accessing my Google/Gmail account as my password is not working. I have attempted the online recovery option for "Forgot password?" Since moving from Canada to the US, my recovery phone number is no longer valid. The recovery process keeps looping without allowing me to use my recovery email address or answer security questions. I am using the same computer I usually use for this account, even though it is in a new location. I am looking for assistance as I am unable to progress past the verification steps despite trying repeatedly. My MacBook is still able to send and receive emails using my Gmail account.

I recently purchased a new cell phone, and unfortunately, the sales clerk accidentally deleted my information on my old phone before I could transfer it. I've been struggling to recover my Google account since the phone number I had as a recovery option is the one I traded in, so I can't access it. Even though I can still use the recovery email, the two-step authentication feature is causing issues and I haven't been successful in recovering my account. I've also tried using multiple old passwords in the process.

I recently bought two $50.00 Google Play gift cards for someone, but when they tried to redeem them, they were already used. The protective coating over the card numbers was untouched. I'm puzzled about how this could happen since the cards were new. I'm wondering if an employee at the store where I bought them could have used the activation code from the receipt to activate the cards. Despite not getting a refund, I'd appreciate any insights for potential future purchases. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Best regards, R. D.

Hi there, I recently changed my Google account password, which prompted a 2-step verification process. However, I did not receive the notification on my phone to confirm it was me. Additionally, I am unable to locate the 8-digit backup code for another verification method. This situation is causing me a lot of stress as I am locked out of my account with important information. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you.

I recently got signed out of all my Google accounts like Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, and Google Photos due to a security issue. Google is requesting a verification code sent to my old mobile number for 2-step verification, which I no longer have access to. Unfortunately, there seems to be no alternative method for verification. I've tried the account recovery process, but it states it may take 2 to 5 days for a response. It's frustrating to be without access to my emails during this time, and I've been unable to reach anyone at Google for assistance.

I have been using the Google email "[redacted]" with the password "tudordude65" on my first computer for years. I am unable to access Google's alternative platforms to resolve this issue without facing difficulties. On my second computer, I use "[redacted]" with the same password but it is not working. The problem predates my recent reconfiguration of the Windows 10 system. I aim to have both computers linked to the email "[redacted]" with the password "tudordude65", the account I have been using with Google for a long time. I cannot create a new account because of the important community work and essential emails tied to my current Google email account.

I am having trouble accessing my Google account. Although a technician claimed they restored it, I still cannot log in to any of my accounts. This situation is frustrating. I am considering seeking assistance from the Attorney General's office. It feels like Google has let me down by not providing adequate customer service despite their vast resources. I plan to escalate this matter further and I will urge those in my network to reconsider using Google services. I urgently need help with this issue as I cannot send or receive emails. Thank you, SK.

I recently purchased a Samsung QN800N [redacted] TV with built-in Google Assistant. When attempting to connect my Huawei P20 Android phone, the TV displays a QR code and pin for connection. However, my phone is unable to locate the TV. Despite rebooting the TV and reinstalling Google Assistant, the issue persists. Notably, Google Home functions well with other smart devices and can control the TV's power state. My phone runs on Android 10 and is approximately three years old. Interestingly, my son's Pixel 5 phone was able to connect successfully.

I have been the victim of multiple hackings by an individual claiming to be a Google trust agent known as Jason Henderson. He is currently in possession of my previous phone, a Galaxy A02s with the number [redacted] through Boost Mobile. Since May, he has successfully hacked into a total of 14 of my accounts. Despite numerous reports, no action has been taken. If this continues, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. Currently, I am using a Tracfone with the number [redacted], which he has also hacked, rendering it unusable. He has gained unauthorized access to all of my Gmail and Facebook accounts and even transferred money from my deceased father's account.
