The issue in GetHuman-whdconsu's own words
I bought a new '** Corvette on ******** (from Autonation, Greenacres, FL) (non-local) which comes with two annual maintenances services. I had the first one done at Schumacher Chev., Lake Park, FL in late Nov.*early Dec. ****. I called a week or so ago to schedule this year's appointment at Schumacher and was given Dec. * (today). When I bought the vehicle in for the appointment this morning, I was told by the service manager that I had "missed" the deadline for service which was ***** and consequently I had to pay for the service (albeit less than $***). I explained to her that I was not aware that the service had to be conducted by *****. She said her dealership would not be reimbursed by GM since I "missed" the deadline and told me to take it up with GM if I wanted to file a complaint. My complaint is not the dollar amount, it's the principle. If I had known that the service had to be conducted on or before *****, I would have ensured that it was. But I was not aware of any such requirement. I would have thought that the service rep would have told me of the requirement when I made the appointment. I have since then made another appointment at another dealership for the same service but will be responsible for the payment. Thanks...Bill Duff, Juno Beach, FL (***) ***-****
