GetHuman-jimboy's customer service issue with General Motors (GM) from August 2018
Help with my General Motors (GM) issue
The issue in GetHuman-jimboy's own words
I made an appointment Monday for warranty service (* brake issues, * of them for a second time) and took my **** Corvette Grand Sport VIN *g*yx*d**j******* to my dealer today (David Maus Chevy in Sanford, FL) and was told they had no loaner vehicles. It was explained to me that GM (you) cut their loaner fleet drastically. In addition, I also mentioned that I was not happy with the first attempted repair (warped brake rotors resurfaced, not replaced, essentially leaving me with used brake rotors). I was advised that GM requires or recommends this. Do you allow other used products for warranty repairs? This is my third Corvette and I have never been denied a loaner for service (this also includes * Ford Mustangs previously). If this is the case I'm sure your customers will not be happy. I know business is good right now and GM may feel it is OK to cut back on customer service but you may need your loyal customers when the next economic downturn comes. Please let me know if what I have been told is true. Don't make the Nissan GTR & new Toyota Supra look too good to pass up. I sincerely hope I will get a (positive) response & results to my issues. Thank you, Jim Wickert
