Hi,**I have a Garmin Edge *** that I bought a while back after my *** gave up the ghost. The battery life soon deteriorated compared to the *** I had which was good for ***-milers even after several years use.**I have changed setting to use the least power but still have to resort to carrying an external battery and lead to strap to the frame on rides more than ** miles. It's not a great look and disappointing from a quality brand like Garmin. **I should not have to change my head unit yet, but I am having to consider switching to Wahoo as I've heard a lot of good reports on them, especially on battery life, which I really need for *** mile* rides. However, I'd prefer to stay with Garmin, so if there's anything you can do to resolve the issue potentially around an upgrade to the **** Edge Plus (a few friends have these and say the battery life problems are resolved on them), I'd be interested to hear from you.**Kind regards,**Matt james
