I purchased my Garmin ***x forerunner watch last summer (August maybe?) and everything was working great when it comes to the software. My issue lies within the physical aspect of the watch. This watch has an interchangeable wrist band, and I had successfully changed the wrist bands a few times without anything going wrong. However, last week I sat down to yet again, change the bands (yes I'm indecisive about which color band I like best), I had barely begun to remove one side of the band when the small notch that holds the band in place completely broke off. I tried to see if I would still be able to use the watch, but it broke in a spot where now the band cannot stay latched at all. I understand this issue was my fault for not being more careful, even though I had successfully changed the band before. But I am writing to you and would like to get a replacement because I paid over $*** for this watch, and for that kind of money, I would think the product should be able to withhold me trying to simply replace the band. I would be honest and tell you if I was being aggressive with the watch to make it break, but I can truthfully state that I was being gentle with it and it just snapped. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
