On running Garmin Express ver. *.*.*.* installation fails with the error message - An error occurred while attempting to create directory: c:*ProgramData*Microsoft*Windows*StartMenu*Programs*Garmin**That directory does in fact exist on my computer, as I have created it manually.**I have also attempted, unsuccessfully, to run the Garmin Express program as an administrator. When I do so, the result is as noted above.**I have also attempted, again without success, installation of the program after a restart of my computer.**I have turned off my firewall and file scan, but doing so did not result in a successful install of the program.**I also created a new user account in Control Panel and tried, without success, to install the program.**My OS is Windows * Home Premium Service Pack *. My Computer is a Dell Inspiron **** with * GB Ram, **-bit operating system and *** GB of free space. **My purpose for installing the program is to register my Nuvi ***w and update the maps. **I am at a loss of how to get the program to install.
