We purchased a new house in February of **** with GE Cafe kitchen appliances in all categories - cooktop, dual wall oven*microwave, refridgerator, dishwasher. In the first full year of owning the house, we have had failures in all four categories. First the dishwasher had a door vent pop off and caused water to leak onto the wooden floor, then the cooktop had made a loud "pop" and needed the wiring harness replaced, then the refridgerator needed both a new water*ice dispenser control module - and had a loose door handle, and lastly our microwave stopped heating. To have this many failures in the first year of use among * separate appliances is appalling and embarassing for US citizens of an American manufacturer. I wish there was more I could do to make this situation known, and warn other consumers.
GetHuman-mcattafe did not yet indicate what GE Consumer Relations should do to make this right.
