**** ge GTUP***EM*WW washer*dryer combo. It was making a lot of noise while spinning for a while and just quit and wouldn't spin out. Figured it was a bearing so replaced the whole transmission assembly which was a total nightmare in itself... lol! Put back together and tried to do a small wash without clothing and it filled and started to agitate for a few seconds and then stopped... and lights flashing. Pressed start again and it will agitate for a few seconds and stops again. tried over and over with that start button... and still does the same thing. It agitates for a few seconds... then stops. And lights flashing. Went to Field Service Mode... and Code is "Blocked Motor". The washer will fill and will start to agitate for a few seconds... and then stops and lights flash. Reset and went to spin and it drained... and started to spin... and stopped. Reset and went to spin again and it worked. Motor ran and spun basket without a problem and finished. Cleared codes for blocked motor using the field service mode... and then tried to wash again. It filled and started to agitate again for a few seconds... and then stopped... and lights flashing again. Is it the motor that is bad when trying to reverse in agitation? Or just the speed sensor? Thinking toward the motor as the spin cycle works. Eh? I dunno. It's the motor... Right? Thinking it's the reverse windings going bad that are tripping the pause in computor. What do you think?
