I own the GE GTW330ASKWW washer and its matching dryer. I've been using them for about a month and a half, and they have been working perfectly. Today, as I was about to start a load, I noticed water sloshing around when I turned the tub. Even though the tub wasn't filled, I started the washer and it seemed to be washing fine.
However, later on, I noticed there is still water behind the tub where the wires are and the walls of the washer. I don't think there should be water back there. Should I schedule a service call to have it looked at? Is there a way for me to drain it myself?

Subject: Issue with GE Appliance Customer Support
Dear Support Team,
I have faced a frustrating experience dealing with GE Appliance Customer Support regarding my GE Refrigerator Model: GFE28HSHHFSS. The refrigerator's top part is too warm according to Service Bulletin REF02-15.
After reaching out to Consumer Relations and arranging service appointments with Ocean Appliance and Just in Time Repair, there have been multiple delays and miscommunications. Despite promises of expedited shipping of the necessary part and appointments, the situation hasn't improved.
I am reaching out for assistance as it seems the repair process might take a few more weeks, leaving us without a working refrigerator. Any help in expediting the process would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I am writing in regard to the recent replacement of my GE microwave with confirmation number [redacted]34. The GE microwave I originally purchased malfunctioned just shy of a year from the purchase date. GE's response was prompt, and a new microwave was delivered within four days. However, I received a different model from my original purchase, which came with a trim kit that is not compatible with my existing GE oven, resulting in a mismatched appearance in my kitchen. The new model also features a bright white display, unlike the green display of my oven. As a result, I have decided not to use the replacement microwave. I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue and achieve a cohesive look in my kitchen.

I bought a GE Induction Range for $2,[redacted] on 2/14/18, had issues since 4/28/18. Despite multiple service calls, the stove still doesn't work. GE won't give me a replacement without it in writing. Scheduled for another tech visit on 6/28/18, but I need a resolution before hosting family events. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau, and am considering further action with my attorney and contacting local reps. All I want is a working range or a replacement. GE's customer service responses are unhelpful scripted replies. It's frustrating to deal with a faulty product like this.

On [redacted], I purchased a GE Induction Range Model PHS***SLSS for $1,***. It was delivered on [redacted]. After waiting for the free promotional cookware set to arrive, I used the range for around ** days and loved it until [redacted] when it stopped working. Despite communicating with Best Buy and GE, there have been ongoing issues with getting it repaired properly. Multiple technicians have attempted to fix it, but the problem persists. I have expressed my disappointment and frustration with the lack of progress and requested a replacement due to the persistent malfunctions. I have taken steps to address this with the Better Business Bureau. I hope to see a resolution from GE Appliances that involves replacing the faulty range promptly to avoid further inconvenience and delays.

I purchased an air conditioner for my children's room to help keep them cool at night. Unfortunately, the product I received is only running as a fan and not cooling the room as expected. I contacted the store, Lowe's, where I purchased it, and they advised me to reach out to the manufacturer for a possible replacement. As a single mother of five, I cannot afford to purchase another air conditioner, especially since I never had any issues with GE products before. My hope is to have this problem resolved, so my kids don't have to endure another summer without a functioning AC unit. Please assist me in getting a working air conditioner as soon as possible, as buying a new one may not be financially feasible for me right now. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I recently bought a GE window unit air conditioner last week. I have a question about it - when I set it to cut off at 76 degrees, it keeps running. I've set it on energy saver and low fan. The model number is AHS10AXo01, and the serial number is FL163461H. Last night, it cut off and stayed off for a while, forcing me to lower the temperature to get it cool in our mobile home. Please provide advice on the best settings and how long it should be between cutting off and turning back on. I am eagerly awaiting your response as the outside temperature is very high during the day and still warm at night. Thank you for your help. Bennie Bryant.

We've been struggling to get our refrigerator fixed. Despite two technicians and three new parts, it's been three weeks without a working refrigerator. Unfortunately, the situation has only worsened, and now it's not working at all. It's frustrating that even though the GE website states they are open on weekends from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we are unable to access their repair service during this time.

I bought a GE Profile microwave oven a year ago, and unfortunately, it stopped working just 16 days after the warranty expired. When I reached out to GE for assistance, I received no help. Instead, I had to contact Gerhard for repair services which were estimated to cost $[redacted]. Frustrated with the situation, I decided to purchase a new oven for $[redacted]. I am disappointed in GE for not offering to repair it for free, especially considering it was only a few days past the warranty period. It's disheartening that GE did not assist me in this situation.

I purchased a Stack W/D on 8/12/17, and it broke within a year. Despite multiple appointments with GE and A&E Factory Services, my washer and dryer remain unfixed after nearly two months. As a household of five adults and a two-year-old, not having a working laundry machine is incredibly inconvenient. GE's offer of $75 for laundry services for two months is insufficient given the circumstances. I have previously experienced problems with GE appliances, including a month without a refrigerator this past winter. I will escalate this matter further if necessary. I am frustrated and simply want my appliance fixed promptly.
Thank you.

I had a frustrating experience with a repair technician from GE who damaged my washer and failed to return for a scheduled appointment. Another technician was sent by GE to repair it at no cost, but he insulted me on speakerphone and demanded payment before leaving. When I sought a refund through customer service, I encountered delays and unhelpful responses. Despite waiting nearly two hours on hold, I still have not received the promised partial refund after months. The lack of follow-up and poor customer service has left me extremely dissatisfied.

In January [redacted], we purchased a GE microwave to replace our old one. We decided against buying the extended warranty due to the high cost. Unfortunately, last week, our new microwave stopped working. The GE technician informed us that we needed to replace the door and switch panel, totaling around $[redacted] excluding labor. We are disappointed with the appliance's performance as we anticipated longer use. Having to replace it after only a year and a half is not what we expected from GE. It appears the microwave was not built to last. A credit from GE towards a new purchase would be a reasonable solution in this situation.

I purchased a GE gas oven from Home Depot in Monroeville, PA, which was delivered on Saturday, September 22nd. On Sunday, I noticed a gas smell and called the gas company. They found a gas leak coming from the flame adjustment knobs of the new range, so they turned off the gas supply to it. In addition to this issue, the refrigerator also needs fixing, making both appliances unusable. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of these GE products and frustrated with the amount of money spent on this appliance package. We will now have to spend more money just to be able to eat. I hope someone will address these problems promptly and not just schedule a repair weeks from now. It is disheartening to experience such issues with American-made products. I may consider other options for future appliance purchases if these problems are not resolved swiftly. Your immediate attention to this matter and assistance in rectifying the situation would be greatly appreciated as we cannot afford these unexpected costs. Thank you. - B.J.

I bought a window air conditioner at Lowe's on June 28, [redacted]. Unfortunately, it stopped working on October 8th. After arranging a repair for October 11th with Confirmation # [redacted]49, the technician found a faulty cord with no replacement parts available, deeming the unit unrepairable. The repairman assured me that GE would provide a new unit, but no one contacted me by October 17th.
When I contacted GE on October 17th, Terika from customer relations offered a rebate that only covers the cost of a new unit, excluding tax. She mentioned a 4-6 week wait for reimbursement after purchasing a new one. I expressed my dissatisfaction with their refusal to honor the warranty terms outlined in the product documentation.
The warranty clearly states that GE will organize and cover the return shipping of the faulty unit, guaranteeing a replacement or refund within 7 to 10 business days upon receipt of the returned item. I request that GE upholds the warranty agreement as specified.
Details:
Purchased: June 28, [redacted]
Retailer: Lowe's
Model: AHP 08LXW1
Serial: AL 061599H
Case #: [redacted]70
Awaiting your prompt response,

I am having trouble with the rear middle burner on my GE Cafe gas cooktop; only half of the ring lights up. I have an extended warranty and confirmed my contract number with the warranty company last week. Despite scheduling repairs on Monday and Thursday, no one showed up or called, and the same issue occurred when I tried calling. Unexpectedly, I received a call for an appointment on Saturday, which I didn't schedule. I stayed home to accommodate the visit, but now I can't reach the service company, and they've marked my case as "closed" without resolving the issue. I've rearranged my schedule multiple times and need assistance with this frustrating situation.

I own a GE generator, and recently the code FC_8 appeared. It ran for three days without any apparent reason. Consulting the owner's manual, it directed me to contact the installer, so I did. Since the generator is still under warranty, I assumed it wouldn't be an issue. However, the installer mentioned it wasn't a generator problem but rather an electrical issue inside the house. Despite my lack of understanding about electrical systems, I followed the generator's instructions. Now, the installer claims GE won't cover the service under warranty, and I'm expected to pay for it myself. I find this unfair as I simply followed the manual's guidance. I believe GE should cover the service call cost since their generator prompted me to contact the installer in the first place.

Has GE issued any recalls or replacements for the following units?
Model: JGP962KED2CC
Serial Number: TF7 [redacted]
My GE gas range (counter mount) appliance is experiencing delayed ignition up to 60 seconds. The local gas company discovered that the issue is with the gas regulator that came with the unit, particularly a plastic cap that was still attached to it. Although the ignition was timely once the cap was removed, the problem persists after a long period of rest. I am concerned about the risk of explosion if a flame control valve is left open and unattended. I worry about the potential dangers of returning to a gas-filled area and attempting to shut off the valve while passing through the spark ignitor phase. To improve the flow to the burners, all valves are turned on to create a vacuum or open space. The gas pressure regulator details are: Maxtrol [redacted] 87 326B1042PI.
Thank you for your prompt response.

I am subscribed to receive new refrigerator water filters every 6 months through a smart order service. Recently, the filter I received had a defective chip that prevented it from working. The customer service representative I spoke to at "Parts" arranged for a refund and a replacement filter to be sent out by the following Monday or Tuesday. However, I was left without water and ice over the weekend due to this delay. I was disappointed by the defective chip and the lack of quick resolution, and the customer service person's demeanor was unhelpful and dismissive. I was unable to escalate my complaint as there was no way to speak to a live person about my concerns. This experience with the company has been frustrating, and I am unsure what to do with the defective filter. As a long-time customer, I am upset by this whole situation and would like to know if this issue is common with the RPWFE filters. - Liz C.
