****: opened account w frontier. phone only.******?: called spectrum to open account w them and port phone *.******: spectrum came to apt to do install, but not possible in the desired location. i canceled the spectrum install.******: i called frontier to have international call service removed from account. was told there was a port order on the number, call spectrum to have it canceled.******: i called spectrum. they said when frontier tries to port out the number, it won't happen. the port should cancel "today or tomorrow."******: i called frontier to confirm port didn't happen. was told the number ported out on the **th, account was canceled (which i did not request), and that i need to sign up again as a new customer (NOTE, had active account until * days prior).******: frontier sales rep says for new account, i need to pay line connection fee and access needed fee. this is not acceptable under the circumstances. those should be waived. he also said those fees would be waived if i bought a more expensive phone*internet package, but not for cheapest phone option. extremely poor customer service, again especially since i had frontier service TWO DAYS EARLIER and did not wish to cancel**please fix by allowing me to reinstate my phone service (porting the number back from spectrum) without paying anything other than monthly fee. no charge for tech visit, connection fee, access fee, etc. i paid all those ONE MONTH EARLIER.
